Got to Gold 2 and I just can't be arsed with anymore of this shit, so listed all my Prem players and quit with games left.

Just played a bloke called "Tankyyy x" who was full of red cards. Google search reveals he finished 155th in the WL in December, including a week with 37 wins. We drew 0-0, I had 10 shots on target v 0 and hit the woodwork twice...

Seems to be my teams for the WL. IF Pisczeck will be too expensive until Monday so sticking with my untradeable normal one. Emre Mor is amazing despite being a bronze so will be sticking with him unless I get Lewandowski or SIF Chicharito in my WL rewards. Neither of which will happen

Only used him as a striker in a front 2 so might be different at CAM but IF Kalou is fantastic

Edit: Game Three: IF ST Ronaldo and OTW Dembele upfront. Messi in behind. Best dribbler I ever faced, worst defender I ever faced in D1. Also fucked up naming his team as he went with DyslexiaUnited. Someone missed the joke.

My Auba/Neymar/Dembele team has 14 goals and conceded 2 in 3 games

The other one has scored 3 and conceded 0 in 2.

Somehow people play far more defensively against the Emre Mor team

If someone has the balls to play bronze or silver against me at this level, I'm playing really defensive, at least at first. It normally means they're either really good or really cocky.

To say his IF was generally 90-110k I'm pretty surprised SIF Javier Hernandez is around the 150k mark considering this weekends rewuirements. If I can get him for 120k or so when the rewards come out tonight I'll be doing that and use Emre Mor as a sub if I need it.

Doing the playing abroad SBCs now. Done the lot for around 20k. Just need to do the loyalty exploit to get the teams chem up. Hopefully I get someone at least half decent out of these packs.

SIF Gameiro is in at CAM to replace Vazquez who drops to my bench. I think that completes my squad.

Aduriz isn't exactly mobile and quick to get in behind, but fuck me, I think he has the best finishing of anyone I ever used.

The front six are great, all of them chip in with goals (Bentaleb has around 1 goal in every 3 games!) and they're enjoyable to use. No matter what team I use I can't defend, concede so many easy goals and 86 Leno is utterly rubbish.

I honestly wouldn't touch any of that back five. Well, I would Lahm, but his work rates don't work for me as I use full backs to attack and Hummels for me has the wrong work rates as a H/M cb ought to be quick and agile, IMO and I certainly wouldn't pair him with Martinez. Leno is one of the worst keepers I've used this year also...

So after a bunch of seasons games perfecting the starting line up my final team is:

Subs: Juanfran, I. Martinez, SIF N'Zonzi, IF Vazquez, Draxler, SIF Aspas, IF Stindl (Hidden gem, one of the most complete players and can come on for DM, CAM or ST with maestro chem. Recommend strongly as a versatile bench option)

Was happy enough with N'Zonzi starting but I decided that having Ben Yedder as the only player with a high defensive work rate wasn't favourable. So I spent my weekly rewards on Vidal.

IF Jovetic was exactly the player I was looking for to play at wide attacking midfield. Allows Griezmann to play in his best position and I have two really good wide dribblers (where Gameiro fell down) who can pass and score as well. Sorted.

Just played and beaten someone who's easily one of if not the best players I've ever gone up against. I've lost before and heavily but never usually get outplayed in games. It's usually just my opponent is more clinical than me or they wreck me in the counter. But this guy was just dominating me and I couldn't get any passing going whatsoever as he seemed to read the game theee steps ahead of me.

Somehow I managed to not concede and score twice on the counter. It could've easily been 4 or 5 - 0 to him.

I sold Vazquez and Benzema to raise the funds for super sub Lewandowski. He's a game changer. 4 of my games have gone to ET, Lewa and Draxler as subs have given me the legs to go on and win three of them.

Oh, and before I take a break for work, I will still obviously finish with just over 20 wins (currently 6-1), but still:

I'm 3-0 with 2 extra time wins one of which went to penalties. The penalty win was just an amazing feeling cos the guy was an absolute c***. 7 man defence and just spammed lobbed through balls to Reus. He scored in the 119th minute with a free kick that shouldn't have happened and then ran all the way back to the half way line for his celebration shushing. Then I just played two one two's from kick off to score a goal with a huge deflection from Hernandez

Started to play a few games here and there recently, it's like every time I give the game a break I come back to feel huge changes. Could just be me being rusty tho *shrugs* like I'm having to get the hang of it from scratch.

So I've found two shapes that [atm] feels better suited to the makeup of my squad.

Have never tried the weekend league before and have realised it has specific squad requirements to enter. I don't really watch other leagues enough to build good teams sadly

Only in div 3 on(line) season after my free fall drop, but beginning to hold the ball and alternating between plays much better. Nowhere near clinical enough tho and it gets really frustrating when I average 50% more shots/on target and usually have more possession in threatening areas. Need to embed low driven shots into my intuition. I'm making the wrong decisions come crunch time.

That second formation is my fave atm. Bought Lukaku to try re-create it (@ Costa's spot) in place of formation #1 but then realised I don't have CAMs of a similar profile to Coutinho+Firminho (I like the dynamic/chemistry.)
