Not played a fifa since 13 and my god how different it is, especially playing on the Xbox One. Finding it quite hard but just about cracked professional difficulty ready to try world class, think I'll play a fair bit of career mode this year as well as Ultimate team.

Since 13 they've added price ranges, a draft mode, squad builder challenges and a weekly thing where you get bonuses depending how well you do in it

Enjoyed the demo. This will be my first FIFA since 14 after owning every single one for over 10 years..

Compared to 14 this seems very much more like PES, in that the football style is more realistic. It's not so much a lofted through ball and run game, it actually requires skill/tactics.

Still got my knack of scoring almost every chance. Though I can't defend at all... I forsee a lot of high scoring online games.

What the fuck, target men are actually viable now? I've got Bas Dost on 5 in 2 so far and that's with 2 pretty crap wingers. My RM has a 2* right foot ffs

Finally, love playing a target man. Crossing has been just pointless on the last few games

Make sure your midfielders have decent stamina. Got Ruben Neves in one of my CDM slots and he's completely out of energy by the 70th minute. I have him on low aggression too ffs.

Also hold up play is great now all round. Got Dost on one team and my wingers and other strikers overlap him while he protects the ball. Other side has N'Doye holding up to play through balls to Quaresma cutting inside. Completely dominated the last 4 games against better sides

Are you using the sheild feature they've added? I noticed that the AI uses it a bit too much in the demo

Yeah, so far the people I'm online VSing have mostly tried using it with speedy midgets

Also make sure to stock up on injury cards. Quite bad for injuries so far
