Yup, done with this game. Drew 3-3, 2 of his goals were penalties I didn't tackle, third a through ball Mandanda literally goers to pick up and he scores whilst he's bending down.

I haven't had a penalty yet I don't think, for or against. It seems much more forgiving when barging players off the ball - probably to help stop those little pacey players.

Some interesting vids online showing pace comparisons. In some ways they've made it more unrealistic by nerfing pace so much but the end product is a much more enjoyable game, especially on UT.

You got the link for those videos? I noticed this myself when playing, would be interesting to see it properly looked at.

What I've noticed over the years is EA just cant do anything in moderation. Theres always elements such as pace or heading which are totally over or under estimated. Im much preferring this FIFA as you have to be a better player to win games due to pace being nerfed, but at the same time its ridiculous that defenders keep up with players in a sprint which are clearly much quicker than them.

I've just started messing around on UT now and have come up with this as my first cheapish team...

...I've taken it online twice now and lost one game 2-1 in the 89th minute and won the other 1-0. It doesn't play particularly well but that's more than likely down to me getting to grips with the game.

I'm also not sure whether to stick with the 4312 or change to the 41212 with three centre mids.

Sooo I went from being something like a 7-1-1 record to being 12-13-14

Changed to super budget 3-5-2 bbva and serie a teams and gone 4-2-0 with them.

Bebe and Vietto up top are absolutely amazing and would recommend to anyone going bbva. Dont let the ratings fool you they both perform over them.

Yeah so I sold Neymar for 300k, putting me on around 420k altogether.

I'm enjoying the Draft Mode so far, and the Premier League teams I've used on regular UT have been decent.

If you don't mind me asking are you using coins to play draft or fifa points?

I thought for some reason it was only going to be 5k coins to play but I've not been playing regular enough to have 15k spare although £2 isn't bad for the odd time I fancy it. I think there should be more ways to get draft tokens, like instead of the usual 3 boring tournaments where you get 10 bob and a shit pack you get a few tokens instead. Though I may be being a total noob here as I haven't played it much in the past week.

I've just been using coins (15k) to enter the Draft. Once I sell/quick-sell the items from the reward packs I make most of it back, and sometimes make a profit. Then again, I suppose it's less of a risk when there's coins to fall back on.

Used a Turkish league false 9 cos I wanted to use the ex chelsea youth duo of Gokhan Tore and Miroslav Stoch. Couldn't afford RVP or Sneijder for the CF spot so went for Ekichi.

He is easily the best player I've used so far in FUT (not counting IF Ronaldo in Futdraft.

Other team is a Bundesliga false 9. I seem to be doing a lot better with cheap budget teams rather than pricey teams. Draxler at LW in false 9 is amazing too. I've got Kruse at CF and he's doing really well. Considering getting IF Raffael in for his spot though.
The defence is all round really solid even though none of them are really highly rated...or even fast. I think both the FBs are under 80pace iirc (iirc IF vertagh and schmelzer) and the cbs both below 70 pace (Sule and the Greek cb from leverkusen)


Also my turkish league CDM has 6 goals in 19 (forgot his name too but hes the canadian gold in the league)

Tremolinas and Koscielny are my favourites in their positions. Really like Konoplyanka as well, but I've abandoned wide men for now. Decided to try Naldo and Hummels out together at cb... Worst mistake I've ever made in my life.

Both H/M arent they? would get wrecked on through balls.

I didnt really enjoy Konoplyanka but then he never really got any space or time so might do a bit better with him another time in another team that can actually pass ok seeing as Payet was the only decent passer there.
