Directly on it?Last time i looked we had one and we will deffo be here next season.
Any body of water that comes from the sea and is physically connected to it is coastline. Estuaries contain seawater. You are on the Severn Estuary so its coastal. We are on the Mersey Estuary so thats coastal. The coastline stops where freshwater flows into rivers.Last time i looked we had one and we will deffo be here next season.
Factoid. If Torquay dont go up, your closest game (Stevenage) will be half the distance of our closest (Rovers). Yet we think we have a few reasonably local games!Congrats to the promoted teams and good luck to the playoff teams. Division is going to be even more bloody Northern next year. Zero derbies. Yawn.
Sorry rob! but the severn estuary starts at the severn bridge or thats what i have been lead to believe all my life we are 12 miles from there and on the same coastline as porthcawl, aberavon, the gower, tenby, and saundersfoot with the north devon and north cornwall resorts on the other side.Any body of water that comes from the sea and is physically connected to it is coastline. Another thing that is a proven fact is that the further away from the sea you live the lower your IQ is likely to be. Masi51 lives inland.
So you are on the Irish Sea Coast or possibly Atlantic Coast. Bristol Channel sounds like something Sid James would say to Barbara Windsor.Sorry rob! but the severn estuary starts at the severn bridge or thats what i have been lead to believe all my life we are 12 miles from there and on the same coastline as porthcawl, aberavon, the gower, tenby, and saundersfoot with the north devon and north cornwall resorts on the other side.
Oops i forgot about Hartlepool, sorry

It's the bristol channel mate!! i would say the far south west of wales is on the atlantic along with north cornwall but we are still on the same coastline as the far south west of wales and north cornwall is on the same coastline as weston super mare which is on the bristol channel. So you are on the Irish Sea Coast or possibly Atlantic Coast. Yes but none of Birkenhead if we're being picky about whether Tranmere are a coastal clubMost of Wallasey is on the Mersey Estuary. Only part of it is by the Irish Sea.
Weston super Mare is classed as a coastal resort so you live on the coast. A town that owes its existence to the sea, admittedly in some dubious ways, can claim to be coastal if it feels like it.Yes but none of Birkenhead if we're being picky about whether Tranmere are a coastal club
it's a grey area... the Severn estuary is a big one so places like Newport and Weston SM seem more coastal but if you use the estuary definition strictly to define what is coastal, then Carlisle and other cities at the head of estuaries such as Glasgow and Exeter can claim to be coastal.Any body of water that comes from the sea and is physically connected to it is coastline. It takes me 10 minutes to walk to the prom along the Mersey from my house and about 15 minutes to walk to the prom along the Irish Sea coast. Most of the Wirral is close to water as its a peninsular so we have a very strong claim to be a coastal area. We also have a seaside resort thats seen better days so Morecambe has nothing over us on that point at least.it's a grey area... the Severn estuary is a big one so places like Newport and Weston SM seem more coastal but if you use the estuary definition strictly to define what is coastal, then Carlisle and other cities at the head of estuaries such as Glasgow and Exeter can claim to be coastal.
So living in land-locked West Yorkshire these days, should I be worried?Another thing that is a proven fact is that the further away from the sea you live the lower your IQ is likely to be. Masi51 lives inland.
are you the office boreOr somebody elses town where their stadium is.

Robsheps more dull than Watford does he count? If Torquay come up and Sutton don’t, I’m pretty sure we’ll have more distance to travel next season overall. Plenty of teams out West next year, especially if Tranmere or Morecambe win the playoffs. Only four (max 5) sides in the South East, with the other three being the dullest League sides in the entire region. I mean, imagine being more dull than Watford? And yet they all manage it.
