Entertaining first half down the Orient.
Northampton comfortably the better side in the opening 15/20 minutes, but it's been all Orient since then, Happe header off the bar the closest either side have come.
Two good league 2 teams here, not much in it.

Ferocious start from Cobblers. Threw us right off of our stride. We ended the half in the ascendancy. Should be a cracking next 45+.

Spending god knows how much on a new premier league style synthetic grass pitch and going into the season with such dismal recruitment is embarrassing.

Should have dropped that money on someone with pace up front and a centre back who can actually find a blue shirt.

Oof that’s a harsh red card for Fox. Clear yellow.

Very bright start to our second half. Should have scored another two and had a penalty.

I dunno, looked very high to me.
Cobblers fans understandably not happy but from my view it was high and dangerous so I think it was the right decision

I'm really stretching my optimism by agreeing but only on the slight hunch Raj wont want his ego popped by having a second FL relegation on his name and funds will be made available.

More likely will be whoever is in charge will have to get rid first and no one will want any of them and we get relegated without a whimper.
Curle said post match, I know what i have in the dressing room, And know what i need....

Salford getting too much joy down our right because Perriera is absolutely knackered and can't run. Been like that for fifteen minutes. If Hughes doesn't change it we're going to concede.

77 minutes have gone and Salford haven't had a shot. You just know the first one is going in!

Big 3 points for RELEGATION HAUNTED CARLISLE to pull themselves further away from the relegation zone.

Beat Salford 1-0. We should have really scored another three goals. Salford extremely poor. 60% possession and no attempts at goal until five minutes from time. Eliott Watt shite as ever.

Got the hammering we deserved and it could have been so much worse, how Mcshittery survives that performance will be beyond me

Weird game, completely dominated it. Had something like 80% possession and scored the shittiest goal of the day. We create very few chances for all the fanny football we play. Colchester looked terrible but could still have nicked a point.

Only our 3rd win against them in 15 games.

I have watched Salford many times from northern premier to conf north to league two and I am constantly surprised at how bloody basic they are each season for the cash spent. Just each season some drab 1-0 hopers

Wasn't there

Wasn't there so can't comment on the match. Should have followed my hunch about Quigley and Canavan, but thought that both might get sent off rather than score...

You deserved the win, and I hope you and Hartlepool both stay up as you're both decent northern clubs. Based on that performance you will be fine, Quigley is a good striker at this level as we know well ourselves. Gonna go full Carlisle here and say I just hope we aren't mucking about in the bottom 6/7 with you come March. Shades of last season with our performance today.

Stockport thugs at it again. At least we were already beating them this time, so absolutely no arguments about the result.

I'm a fan of Watt, but he was hopeless today. Think the stick he got from our fans got to him.

As for us, that's an excellent result and as you say, we should've had another two or three easily. Rode out the storm after we scored but comfortably the better side before the goal and in the second half. Salford are wank.
