I promise 102 will be much better.

Ah nuts.

ah, ive seen you are Kingstonian fan. a nice story from FM.

some years ago i was managing in the english non leagues ( conference premier i guess) in the last third of the season i was hosting Kingstonian, the league leaders and i was in the second position and 7 points behind. they were demolished by my side and were beaten 11:0. that was so crazy and ive never seen any equal ever again, beating the league leaders by double figures.

a screen shot was in the old tff thread but i guess its lost

I stupidly wasn't paying a attention when picking my team and put my CB in goal. A complete disaster as I didn't have a GK on my bench!

.... Somehow I managed to win 4-3. Massive let off. Greaves got all four. The guy is a legend and clearly learned a lot from his grandad Jimmy!

I think I remember seeing this. I've only ever had massive wins in friendlies or cup games against much lower opposition :(

So much lol. The prick who stole my job (my former ASSistant) is unhappy about me playing the waste of air Champion out of position? I'm not even playing him at all! I told him to do one in the hope that he would take Champion back but the little bitch just said he respects my decision to do what I want with my own team.

25 games in now with Whitehawk and we are in 9th place.

We have let in 47 goals so it's obvious where the problem is.

Mid-March, 2nd in L2 on 64 points but 7 off the pace. Only conceded 18 but only scored 41 in 35.

My playoff hopes are almost done for this season, after two late defeats to Cardiff (2nd) and Northampton (5th) leave us 7 points off them with 5 games left. We're in 11th. Still, not too bad a first season considering we have the second lowest wage budget in the division (I don't known if I mentioned...)

My full backs are awful, they all average about 6.50. Do I remember reading that this was an issue on FM 14 in the lower leagues?

Still we should reach are aim of mid-table which will be a good base to improve on.

Yeh full backs were terrible on 14. I didn't notice it so much after the January update though..

Talking of which, has that come out for this one yet?

Yea about two weeks ago now. Doesn't look like too many changes have effected the matchday experience.

Some big upgrades to players though (Harry Kane looks ridiculous).

My FB at Spurs were pretty decent so I think it's more a case of these two being hopeless. I have noticed that more defensive players like DM have trouble getting a high average rating anyway.

So I just finished my second season in league 2 with Portsmouth.

Coming into the season I think the Board felt conned I had managed to get an extra year on my contract. It was promotion or bust this year. I decided to stick with my wingerless formation. Key signings were a young striker called Lee, Ryan Mason, to play attacking midfield and a goalkeeper. We were absolutely brilliant up until January and led the league by seven points. This is when serious financial difficulties hit. Apparently they hadn't budgeted for two years in League two and things were looking a bit desperate. Celtic came in for my young centre back, Whatmough, for £2million which left me a bit short at the back but did please the Board. Over the remainder of the season we struggled and scraped points due to scoring loads of goals. Fortunately due to the fact League 2 isn't that good this was more than enough and we won the League by 5 points. My strikers scored 53 goals between them and Mason was absolutely brilliant. Onwards and upwards to League 1!

Whatmough is the 17 year old, isn't he? He looks like he could turn out ok but I hadn't decided what to do with him yet.

Anyway, I managed to shift another 3 or 4 players in the January transfer window so my budget is down to the 4th highest. I'd forgotten how much I prefer wheeling and dealing during transfer windows in the lower leagues, re-building squads/backroom staff, getting rid of the expensive shite in the process and improving finances.

It's like being an FM version of Jon Moulton (although we'll not include City Link in that comparison...).

Yeah Whatmough is the 17 year old. Only started playing him in my second season but he turned out to be really good. Much better than Bradley anyway.

Fair enough. I might try him alongside Steve Foster because I'm not sure Paul Robinson has another season in him and/or at L1 level.

I might have sold Bradley, was he the 31 year old CB? Too expensive so I got rid of him.

I think he was 21 at the start of the game? Maybe younger. Not very good anyway.

I haven't been on my game since my last post in here, but now all I can think of is going abroad and winning trophies :£

Chelsea is going solid so far. 2nd in league after 9 with 6W 3D 0L, point behind Man Utd. Quarter final of Capital One cup after beating Sheff Utd 3-1 and Champions league is the problem, 3 games 4 points but I'll soon sort that out.

Finished 11th. An alright season, but now I'm losing three players who hate me (right-back, top scorer and centre-back), and I'm letting my two oldie signings Scott Wagstaff and Chris McCann leave, so it's a REBUILD JOB in the summer. Could go either way.

Could go out of the champions league at the group stage :dk:

EDIT - Smashed Leverkusen 4-0 and 1 game left now. Equal points with them for second but I have 7 better goal difference and they have to play top of the group Napoli, I should be safe now :)

Finished 2nd in L2.

8 or 9 players will be released, then I've got decisions to make on 5 loanees with probably 2 or 3 extending their stay.

Almost got sacked then. Oops.

Had a catastrophic start to my second season in charge after a clutch of established first teamers left at the end of their contracts. I have no money so all replacements were loans or free transfers and it's fair to say they didn't hit the ground running. Lost 8 of my first 10 league games and exited both cups. A 6-1 league loss at Coventry was probably the low point. Could not stop shipping goals.

Made a couple of minor defensive tweaks and I *seem* to have stopped the rot. Up into mid table... Don't think the promotion dream is happening this season though!

Got a job at Bristol Rovers at the start of October. Won my first home game against Dover Athletic. Not really used to LLM so if anyone has any words of wisdom they'd be greatly appreciated!

And also on a side note, after owning this game since the day it came out, I can't believe I've only just used touchline team talks for the first time! I barely even registered their existence until today!

Started my first game of FM15 on the new 15.3 patch.

I am managing Wolves.

Junior on a 3 month loan for depth. Bellerin and Drage have both been fantastic signings and Gazzaniga is on a 2 month loan for cover as Ikeme and Kuszszscak(sp?) are both injured.

Only a few games in but I'm around mid-table with this and coming off a really good 3-0 win in the CC against Sunderland. Kevin MacDonald would usually play instead of Evans but he's injured too (a recurring theme in this fucking squad).

Well after my last update, I'm now 15 games into my Chelsea season and things are going really well now. Not sure how long I plan to stay with them, probably until I make then European Champions before moving off to another country to play with some good team. Just wanted to do this career as something that is more premade at the top, and my Barnet one is more working my way up there.

Anyway after 15 games in the Prem we are 12W 3D 0L and 7 points clear of Man Utd in second, but they have a game in hand. Managed to get through to the Champions Cup round of 16, but the draw has not been done. Is it similar to the real draw where a 1st placed team plays a 2nd placed team? If so that's frustrating..

WHenever I take the lead I usually say either 'concentrate' or 'tighten up' so I don't lose the lead straight away. When I've conceded, I tend to demand more, or push higher up/get forward (whatever it is) if it's quite late on.
Revelation. This has turned my fairly dismal Bolton team from 23rd (and on the verge of sacking me) to 8th with one defeat in seventeen.
