Don't know how to get screenshots but my intensity level is very high. I assume that must be it.
Just screenshot and paste it in. No need to upload via Tinypic or anything.

But yeah, very high is stupid during the season. Average at most unless during the season both on team intensity and individually.

Put it down to low and I've got 2 injuries in 2 games, and sure there's more to come.

Injury prone players? Do you have a dedicated fitness coach? Only ideas i've got.. What type of injuries are they - impact injuries or just torn muscles?

Still can't be as bad as Adam Lallana on my game, never known a player like it for injuries. He started 30 games for me last season, and I which I could find the stats, but I reckon he must have gone off injured/with a knock in about 20 of them. He had six injuries over the course of the season. Didn't think he was that injury prone in real life.

3rd in the Premier League after 15 games, having only lost twice (to United and City, the top two by miles).

Youngsters are developing really well, too.

Hines has 13 in 13 in the league. He's only 18 :ds:

Them's some good numbers. How are you playing him?

I've got an AFCON quarter final against Algeria to look forward to later. Mali going all the way.

Poacher in either a 4-1-2-1-2 or a 4-5-1. Scored some beauties as well. He wasn't meant to be my main striker, that was an American dude called Overgard who I signed for £11m from PSG, but he's been injured for ages. So Hines it is. Hope he scores 57 goals so I can say "57 varieties" or somethin.

Lost the QF against Algeria on penalties. Pretty disappointing really because 5 of my first team were injured, so I reckon with a fully fit squad I'd have been able to win.

Not to worry, immediately resigned and have managed to land myself the Wigan job in the Championship after being turned down by Hull and Notts Forest. 3 points clear of relegation with 10 games to go.

This is a strange game.

Brentford declared their interest in one of my players, he said he wanted to join them so I said to him I'll offer him a contract to match the wages Brentford are offering, he was happy with that, but I can't enter contract talks cos he's unhappy!

Two things I failed to check:

A) Of the remaining 10 games, 7 of them were against teams in the top 10.

B) Wigan have no money.

I ended up being relegated on goal difference on the final day, and so I jumped ship. I doubt anyone will hire me for a while, but the scale of the rebuild job at Wigan was ridiculous and I decided I couldn't be arsed.

Stupidly close L2, two losses and you can drop from 3rd to 15th and win two, vice versa.

My squad's no-where near good enough IMO but we're 5th at the minute but as above, it's really close down to 15th. I'll probably end up settling just above mid-table unless we put a good run together.

Preston are bottom of L2 by some distance, so I've got half an eye on them although Sheffield Wednesday are in the L1 relegation places...

Had to wait until October but managed to get the Leeds job with some carefully selected responses at interview.

They're 22 in Championship but only 8 points off the play-offs so the league is still pretty tight. Also got a decent transfer kitty for the first time in my career so feeling positive.

I'm hoping that I can stick it out a bit longer at Leeds, getting quite bored of jumping ship repeatedly before I can really achieve anything at a club.

Yeah that's what I thought. They're quite a bit over the wage budget [mainly because I agreed to work with a smaller wage budget than they originally offered] but otherwise they're really quite strong financially too.

Imagine they also have quite good youth and training facilities...?

Yeah, both described as 'great'.

Struggling to get a decent run going at the minute, every win seems to be followed by a defeat. Just hoping to get to January and then maybe bring in a couple of decent loans.

That's a lie, I'm in L1 with Doncaster not L2.

Preston are, however, bottom of L2.

My only problem with Leeds would be a maniacal chairman..

Working through the summer with Blackpool now. It's been ok. I had a relatively small squad last season, often having games where I didn't fill the bench because one player was injured or whatever. I have lost the services of Joan Oriol who was captain last campaign, so the board and fans are furious although there's nothing more I could do as he wanted to go back to Spain. In his place is Greg Cunningham from Brizzle City. Experienced enough, played over 30 times in this league last season so knows the level. Unfortunately I'm about to lose my best player, Pierce Sweeney, as he is demanding a move. Bradford came in with a bid of over £600k for him and while I wanted closer to £1m, it's unlikely.

Five of the six players signed so far have been defenders, with the other being Kristoffer Olsson to add another name to the midfield. Reckon I need another striker as I do not see Jack Redshaw reaching the heights he did last season (32 goals).

Edit: so I sold that Sweeney - said he'd been a great servant and be welcome back any time. His reply was along the lines of "you're a prick so never coming back while you're in charge".

What a barsteward.

What overall mentality do people use when playing away from home? After seemingly cracking my away hoodoo at Macclesfield, I'm finding the exact same problem now at Leeds. No matter how I approach an away game [counter, standard or control] I seem to go behind quickly.

Frustrating the nuts off me.

It depends. For example, Blackpool in L2 I was better than a lot of the others so I played an attacking 3-5-2. Try and instruct the players to keep it tight straight from kickoff.

First game in L1: Blackpool 4-5 Portsmouth

This'll be fun!!!!!

edit: I was 4-2 up too

Cheers, I'll give it a try.

Also, those results are hard to take. I feel your pain.

Yeh. I'd say it depends a lot on what kinda team you are playing. At the minute I'm varying between an attacking 3-5-2 (attacking wing backs etc), and an attacking 4-3-1-2, but in this it's more solid and I don't have wing backs bombing forward all the time.

& yeh it's been a…weird start to the season.

Pompey (h) L 4-5
Barnsley (a - Cup) W 1-4
Sheff Wed (a) D 1-1
Chesterfield (h) L 1-3 (despite dominating throughout).

Also in pre-season we scored 23 goals in six games, so we certainly seem to know where the net is (preseason included a 3-1 win over a full strength Everton team).

I reckon I've laid the foundations here to be promoted to the Championship within two years.

Nah it does work. I used to go overload right from kickoff at times with Wrexham, when playing part-timers. Usually reaped rewards and found myself ahead/on the front foot inside the opening 15 minutes.

I've had overload work loads of times. Never been brave enough to start with it unless against part timers as Yellow says, or say Premier League Vs League 1/2 strugglers. I've saved a fair few games by going overload in the last 15-20 minutes too.

Tried unsuccessfully to make tactics out of it a few times too, just results in 3-5 defeats and such.

Finished four points outside the L1 PO's. Had a tough run-in, which was either going to see me fall short or well in them because I played teams around me.

Jack Richardson, a 19 year old on loan from Watford, got me 28 goals last season in L2 and 34 this season in L1. Managed to extend his loan for a third season but I'm having to pay his £2k/week wages in full as opposed to no contribution like this and last season.

Going to lose a couple of key players I think due to wage demands i.e. on £1k/week and now wanting £4k/week...Don't think I'll be able to keep Garner either for the same reason. Did well and got 18 goals for me, but I'm not paying a 35 year old £3.5k/week.

Already agreed to sign Steven Hewitt on a free. He's a CM I signed for Portsmouth, Coventry and now Doncaster. Also a LB, Floro (first name escapes me). Usually available on a free at the start of the game and does a decent job all the way up to the Championship (signed him on my Lincoln game in the Conference).

Finished 7th in the Prem with PNE, also got to the FA Cup final, losing 1-0 to Hull who took my place in Europe as they finished 8th....not happy.

Moved on a few back up players, such as Adan Gurdiel, Tom Clarke, Ehsan Hasjafi & Jonathan Bond for about £3.5m combined.

Also loaned out Danny Wall to Peterborough, a 17yr old, potentially world class striker I signed from Bishop's Stortford for £8k. Came off the bench for me a few times last season and bagged twice. Currently got 7 in 9 for Peterborough so i'm going to give him a few run outs in the first team after Christmas.

In terms of incomings, i've brought in; Marcos Llorente (£5m from Zaragoza), Ante Rogulic (£2.2m from Sevilla), Jule Schoofs (Re-gen) (£1m from STVV), Oliver Nitcham (Loan from Man City) & Re-signed Bertrand Traore (Loan from Chelsea). Also promoted a regen named Freddie Sands from the youth team as my back-up keeper.

I'm sat around 10th after 6 games so far and i'm in the 3rd round of the league cup, bit of an inconsistent start.

Current Squad

GK: Remy Riou, Freddie Sands

DR: Loris Remy
DC: Bailey Wright, Marian Sarr, Shane O'Neill
DL: Luke Garbutt, Jules Schoofs

RW: Callum McManaman, Bertrand Traore
CM: Marcos Llorente, Ouasim Bouy, Lucas Deaux, Alan Browne
AM: Josh Brownhill, Ante Rogulic, Oliver Nitcham, Mitija Motric
LW: Matos, Ivan Bella

ST: Nikos Karelis, Sandro Ramirez, Danny Wall
