I once had one of those targets run over an end of a season and I played a big club in a friendly, obviously lost, but I got sacked for it.

It shows up all the same on my promotion tally, my unsuccessful friend.

If I win the FA Cup you will *have* to give me that.

Got battered 4-1 in the semi so you're alright.

Went 1-0 up as well :(

Got my signings done with Feyenoord. Sold a load of back up players and my left back and raised around £12m. Brought in Esmael Goncalves, Ewandro, Andre Andre and a young centre back for just under £6m in total, plus I signed two left backs, a right back and another CM on loan. Sitting joint top after 14 games, 1 point above Utrecht who have made some good loan signings, 5 points above PSV and 6 above champions Ajax. I'm also second in my Europa league group containing Wolfsburg, CSKA Moscow & Sparta Prague, a win against Prague should hopefully see me through to the knockouts with a game to spare. I'd like to sign a DM if possible in the window to give me more options in midfield, but I have no money to spend and £5k wages available so it doesn't look promising

Finished the season with 103 points, a bit disappointing having fallen away after winning promotion. I was blooding a load of youngsters tho. We've got three or four 4.5/5 star potential teenagers coming through, will try to use them as much as possible in the Prem.

Highlight of the league season was the game away to Forest, who had FAMOUSLY relegated us on the final day of last season (despite being already down themselves). The home fans were GIVING IT LARGE on that day (I presume), and the travelling Gooners BANTERED THEM OFF (probably) as we romped to a 7-1 win. Forest finished 2nd.

Think I might have cracked it with Coventry this season. Admittedly, it's early days but currently 4th after 10 games and playing well. Lost 15-14 on pens in the JPT.

Only got a squad of 19, paying out £23k/week and it's a good little squad for the money I'm paying, especially when you consider there are two players earning a lot more than the rest of the squad. Bit of a gamble with such a small squad, but I'm not one for pissing money up the wall just to increase numbers. There's always short term loans if needed.

The only area that will let me down is up front I think because I got a decent CB on loan from Man City. At the minute, my strikers are scoring (Tom Bradshaw has 14 already and has been a good freebie for me along with Ben Williamson) so that's the one area that, at the minute, I'll be looking to strengthen in January if possible.

Well - as far as first seasons go, it was a pretty good one. The league was a doddle, my loanees played a huge part in that. I was conceding few, and scoring plenty.

As for cups - well, FA Trophy, I won that. FA Cup - I famously beat Sheffield United on their own patch, but got knocked out in the 3rd round. As for the season in general - I only lost 4 games, it was one of my better ones.

I thought that said Bristol Rovers

Do it. You know you'll regret it if you don't ;)
Bristol who?;)

I declined it - I'm determined to get back to back promotions with Barnet before looking elsewhere!

A Wolves update. Just because. Finished 11th in my 3rd season and 2nd season in the Premiership and qualified for Europe via the League Cup. A little disappointing considering I finished 14th the year before but it's still a very young side with no players over 27 so I'm happy overall. The club made a £105m profit which left me with a £43m transfer kitty heading into season 4 and I spent it relatively well - apart from losing out on a couple of cheapish wonderkids.

Will Hughes is the one player I've wanted all along to be my DLP in the middle so I was happy to get him for 10.5m, he also broke into the England squad over the summer which was nice. Jenkinson went as I saw Mandi as an upgrade for basically the same wages. Caulker had demanded a transfer at Championship QPR and I was happy to oblige. Duffy is a 17 year old regen who looks a certainty to be a top AMC, he'd already be a solid Championship player.

Big transfer were of course selling Afobe for £10.25m (£8.25m up-front) and replacing him with Dutch wonderkid Zivkovic...and of course beating Spurs and Arsenal for the signature of Daehli, who I certainly overpaid for but there doesn't seem to be an abundance of quality young left-wingers.

Started the season well, breezing through qualifying and 2 good draws to Arsenal and Chelsea...then. Fucking Disaster.

Absolutely devastated. Not only to lose him but as it leaves me with only one striker, Luka Jovic - who is verrry injury-prone himself and the Daehli transfer completely wiped out my transfer and wage budget too.

Aim is to finish top-half, which I should be able to do...provided injuries stay at a minimum.

8m for Afobe - jesus christ.

That's some healthy profit.

I have always wanted to start FM for a long time but haven't gotten the time for it yet. I have a couple of questions though, will I have to buy a new laptop to play for it or will my regular laptop that I use for college do the job?

8.25 and another 2 after 50 league appearances, so £10.25m overall. Just scored loads of goals for me. 38 in all comps in the first season and then around 20 in the next two seasons each too (something like 16 & 14 in the league) - had a new contract along the way and in the end his value was £11.25m - he kept wanting to move though whenever Everton, Swansea, Bordeaux etc... were bidding for him but they were bidding like £5m, ridiculous given his goal record. In the end I just cashed in, felt like £10m was just too good to turn down, he was also benefitting from the system I felt because all three seasons I've had a side that's always scored goals, I replaced him with fucking Apostolos Vellios for 3 months once and I still scored goals. Just a massive shame Zivkovic is now dead otherwise I'd have probably kept hold of Afobe and signed a cheaper winger than Daehli, someone like Josh Murphy perhaps.

He was bizarrely good though Afobe, just never seemed to miss chances. I played him as a targetman too which wasn't really his best role I'd guess by looking at his attributes. I think I'll try and sign him on a game in the future and see if he's as good.

Depends what specs it has... Look at the recommended system requirements, and if it matches that, yes, if not, no.

1st, coming up to the Xmas period.

Been ok with injuries so far considering the terrible time I had with them in the previous two seasons. Not sure whether being able to employ a Fitness Coach this season has made a difference or not.

Two players want out, but they're no real loss. One is a 7th choice CM (I play with four central players, hence the large number of them) and the other is a 3rd choice LB who I kept because I thought he'd be the best back-up LB I could get.

Main concern is my best CB and CM attracting interest from lower PL/top Championship sides, especially when the former is out of contract at the end of the season.

Yep, two seasons over 3 years. Halfway through my second full season (I think!)

PNE have potential to be next. Bottom of L1 with 6 points, already had 3 managers this season with the 2nd lasting 6 weeks!

Top by 4 points with 5 to play. 6 clear of 3rd with a better GD to effectively 7.

Won the league by 8 points.

Will now resign and wait for another job to pop up, probably in L2. Let the next squad/financial rebuild commence!
