I'll give it another go tonight but based on the last couple of shows I think I'd rather stay up later and have a much less shit offering. Again, nice job Channel 5. It really, really wasn't hard for you to lap up all the Football League supporters and yet you've managed to screw it up.

At least they'll show the goals from Leagues 1 & 2 when there's no Championship when International games are on, the BBC never did and the way they treat us fans in the lower divisions is pathetic. I'll give the show another look tonight to see if they.ve listened to the comments from fans and changed the format like showing the divisions in order, The Championship, League 1 then League 2 as it should be shown.

I would pay money to see Akinfenwa v Virgo in a wrestling game carrying on from their rumble at Brighton.

Shall we use this thread as a kind of live discussion thread about how much rubbish they're talking on Channel 5?

League 2 up after the break.

They haven't half built up this Daggers v O's 'East End Derby' as some kind of huge occasion. Just cos Jamie Cureton was the only footballer in the area around the studio with nothing better to do on a Saturday night.

On the topic of Jamie Cureton, he has a glittering career in broadcasting ahead of him.

If one of them was a 6ft, dark and handsome, Adonis of a man...

...it wasn't me.
Well there's every chance that one or more of them wasn't one you.

But if there were 3 Daggers on the show, and there are 3 Daggers on here, then there must be some overlap in those two groups... otherwise we're saying Daggers have more than 5 fans, and I can't really believe that.

A lot better this week , the narrator got his halves mixed up in the Carlisle game , they stopped mixing it up but they still insisted on talking over a couple of the clips , the tables are stupid and the audience pointless

Oh, I got the joke, you didn't have to explain it to me.

Much better tonight . It's still very pound shop and Virgo still looks like he's won a competition but it was in a semblance of order and rovers won which helps .

Hopefully they're going to have Terry Butcher on next weekend. Be good to keep a running theme of studio guests who have just been done over by Orient.

I didn't even know orient and dagenham was a derby, learn something new everyday I suppose.

The format was better, they paid as much attention to league 2 as the bbc did, show it at a normal time and will show us when the championship isn't on - a much better deal if you ask me

Just watched last nights, okay so its now in order which is promising but its still so awkward in that studio. What are these fans getting out of being in the studio? At one point they went from Riley to Cates and the audience didn't know where to look.

Thought it was an improvement, but not as good as it can be.

I agree with Aber Gas on Virgo, he looks very awkward when he stands by that screen. There's a bit too much walking around the studio too, would be better if they stayed in a similar position for the entirety of the show.

There is absolutely no point in having the dodgy-looking audience either, they have no involvement. They look like zombies at times as they're just static, often smiling awkwardly at the camera.

Endsleigh League Extra got it spot on back in the 90's, even if it was shown at 2am or something silly like that.

Copy that format and show it at 9pm on a Saturday night and they've nailed it.

Was better yesterday compared to the previous weekend. As said above, the audience needs scrapping, they offer nothing but if they insist on having an audience I much prefer them doing nothing than having an active role in the show.

I'd say I enjoyed it, but it's hard to enjoy a highlights show when you're team loses ;)

But yeah, a far better effort this week, although the gormless audience still needs ditching. For what its worth I like the fact they get a different guest each week, even if I do fast forward through whatever he's saying because I just want to watch the highlights :)

Geographically it is, historically it ain't. Hard to have a rivalry with a pub team that exist because they ate four other pub teams.

Dagenham sing about us, we sing about West Ham, West Ham sing about Spurs, Spurs sing about Arsenal, Arsenal don't sing about anything. 'Twas ever thus.

I thought this was going to be on for midweek fixtures too? I don't think it's scheduled to be on tonight or tomorrow.
