Only done the 3.

Andorra 07, Berlin 08 and Amsterdam 09.
Amsterdam looked a decent trip earlier in the year, regretted not going out for it in the end.

Yeah it’s just a big piss take really, always regretted not doing a few of the more hairier ones so Montenegro and Kosovo are definitely tempting me. Wouldn’t mind doing Sofia either as have never been to Bulgaria but will have to see.

Did Montenegro last time, one of the most boring places I've been podgorica, done about 35 england aways and it can get a bit boring tbf doing the same old places, been some cracking trips and places though.

It’s just over £100, no problem with that whatsoever. I’ll be doing Kosovo as well I expect, the one that stood out in the euro groups.

Where are the flights too? Faro I'm guessing at that price?

Yeah been to Prague before, great city but like you said all the England dregs will be flying over and ruining it.

Should have done more England aways really but after 2010 World Cup and Rooney’s little bitch fit at the end of the Algeria game I lost any interest or enthusiasm for the national side. Only really got it back this World Cup just gone tbf.

No I love that at times, we had a superb time with the zenit lads in russia last week having a sing song, just depends on the type of lads there, you get some 1st class pricks at england away games, you also meet some great lads who we meet when we play club football.

Suppose I’ll find out. The videos of the England fans like the ones out in Spain the other month where they were diving round in puddles and that looked a bit cringe, can’t be arsed with wrong uns like that.

That qualifying group is as good as it gets for decent trips.

Not done England away for quite a few years now but tempted to do a couple of those.

Haven't done an England trip since 2003, Macedonia (A).

Being in Munich for the 5-1 win in 2001 was as good as it got. Hate the fact that you have to pay for membership now, back in the day you didn't and thousands more people used to go out. Half tempted by Kosovo (A), though.

I never bothered with membership. Just travelled out ticketless and bought some when out there. Was in the home end in both Berlin and Amsterdam. The bloke we got tickets from in Amsterdam must have had the whole block to sell, turned up late and this whole area was full of English so was pretty decent in the end.

Did England v Wales at Ninian Park in the early 70s. Franny Lee winner, I think.

That was - ‘interesting’

Never been to an England game in my life, home or away. Weird really, just never had the motivation. Mainly as we’ve been utter tripe and extremely dislikable as a team since I’ve been of an age where I can afford to go and watch them. Credit to Southgate though, he’s clearly doing his level best to rectify that.

I could, but I had a 10 year banning order for that, not sure you remember that match, but it was some serious disorder, you wouldn't get that type of bother these days

I wasn't born but I've read about plenty of stuff in them days, the only real violence I've seen what could match your days was in Marseille in 2016, and most of that wasn't our fans. Seen a few other incidents watching england in the 2000s but nothing on that scale. All other countries try to replicate English fans of the 80s, our country has fully moved on now though.

It died down massively in the 2000s. The 90s was still chaos with England .

Did you do Slovakia (A) in 2002? That kicked big time out there, we got a shoeing by the OB.

It has, and not a bad thing to be honest, some of the things we got up to are pretty reprehensible, but that was it was like following football back then, people forget that away fans were mainly football lads back then.
On another note, I saw with interest on another page regarding stoke and the N40, whilst stoke (old ground) was always a bit of a tasty event, a div 3 match in 1991 at their place is especially memorable, they weren't ready for what they came across that day.

No I know a few that did, my first was Austria in 2004 I think it was, england fans took a real pasting in zagreb in 07 off the ob, luckily and probably the 1st time ever and even since we went in the ground reasonably early, anyone after us were coming in pouring with blood. I remember 2 coppers taking an absolute hammering in the subway station in Madrid for the friendly at the bernabau, bit of revenge for the unnecessary beatings we get off Spanish police all the time. Lithuania was quite funny in the ground a few years back, our lot showing off then most of them running when they charged at us. Seen dozens of cases of our lot fighting with each other too,

Aye, heard bits about Stoke v Bolton.

One of the best around back then your lot. Especially in the 80's.

These young mongy pretenders on Twitter etc would laugh nowadays if you mentioned clubs like Bolton, Oldham, Carlisle, Burnley etc having proper outfits with big numbers.

I was only born in '84 like but my dad was very active in his younger days back then.....and when I first started getting taken on North End in about 94, I spent a lot of time sitting in pubs before games with him and his pals listening to stories, soaking it all up....so I know pretty well what it was like.

No CCTV, camera phones etc so everyone used to just run amok causing havoc.

Different world.

Haha, i'm 47 mate and know a lot of the dutch lads. Did my time in a firm until early 20's, then the drugs, operation gamma and other things moved into the scene, and I walked away from it, plus the banning orders were getting embarrasing. There was a time when I was banned from Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Wigan, Bury, City, Filth etc, infact, I think I was banned from most of the north west team and some others.

Preston really didn't like our visits. You had a good set of lads, always game but just couldn't handle our visits, your away end was always like sardines. Todays mobs are just a waste of time, but maybe not a bad thing, the 80's was an era for football lads and something had to change
