no, i think smith just had is arms held out and angol ran into them and dived to get him sent off

Canavan throws an elbow, quite clear in the video above. that's two reds missed by the ref for Bradford, Foulds should have been booked first half and smiths is debatable either way. In fact fouls got away scott free when worrall would have been running into the box, though admittedly there was covering defenders, the ref didn't even see fit to book him for that.

Canavan wasn't looking at the player, he was following the ball, like a defender should. The player ran into his back and then Canavan's arms came up otherwise he would have fallen over. Threlkeld should have been sent off but he wasn't. Some decisions you get, some you don't and every team can say that over the season. With 11 each, we deserved the draw. Get over it PV fans and concentrate on the rest of the season which looks like it will be a good one for you.

Laughably, no Exeter players made the L2 team of the week (again) but Piergianni did! And Ryan Lowe was the manager?

They just pick names out of a hat. Clueless, like most things related to EFL governance.

Can’t see why you’re that bothered. Who gives a flying one who’s in that.

I said it was laughable. But someone is making a living out of this stuff! Though I did really enjoy Piergianni's contribution, particularly for Matt Jay's goal

Piergianni's always been overrated - think people rate him because of his exotic name and fancy hair do.

If I was a centre forward I'd be ragging that ponytail off the back of his poncy head. Always seems to score a header against us.

Piergianni is at best a average L2 defender and it worries me we wanted him near the transfer deadline to be honest.

I thought he looked decent against us for Oldham last season, we absolutely battered them home and away in terms of performance but at their place we won 2-1 and he cleared most things including one ridiculous one off the line up onto the bar.

At Vale Park it was 0-0 but probably more one sided than the Southend game we won 5-1! He was outstanding… the other 3 at the back were awful but he kept them in it both times.

He has been immense this season, only his first season in league football. I was expecting a lot more from Northampton given the league positions and we struggle at home

Worst I've seen us play this season and our quietest away following.
We were asleep for the first 20-25 minutes after that early one on one, I only said just before the penalty that I'd be happy if we got away with 0-0 at half time.
We were terrible and you weren't much better, we were even worse after you went down to ten men, but it would have have been criminal if we got a point at the end.
Fortunately it's only put us down one place.

As above, Piergianni is, at best, a bang average league 2 defender. He gets stuck in, wins most aerial duals and gets his fair share of blocks but positionally he’s not good, lacks pace and his distribution is dreadful. I’ve got time for him because he does at least try but there’s a reason Salford binned him off when they got to this level as they had aspirations of another promotion (lol).
