Could have 20 minutes stoppage time and Carlisle are not scoring. They play very nice patterns until they get to the final third then just look clueless.

My head fell off at the end there when they just passed it around until the ref blew up, having had about six chances to cross it. And I’m used to watching Notts every week.

The problem is the signings have maybe yep……made us a little smoother, yep maybe we make a lot less mistakes, the heads don’t drop as quick.

But we create hardly any chances we don’t at all look dangerous, we don’t look like we can score and we also always look like we will concede a goal at least maybe two a game.

Unless we improve in both boxes it’s worthless what we do in the middle areas

When we got promotion we were the opposite hardly dominated games hardly had the ball, but defended extremely well could be great on the counter created chances and scored off many corners.

Got to be the most toothless ineffective style of football you can get what we have played for 4 months now

Could've played all day and you not score.

Despite all the possession you did nowt with it and we had the (admittedly few) best chances of the game.

Given the Carlisle squad churn which could've gone anyway today and the famous we never win at Carlisle hoodoo I'll take that.

Carlisle very poor in the final third. Can't see where the goals are coming from.

Bradford pretty ordinary, but did enough to secure the win. Good win for Donny at Gills too. Not the best start for Coleman, early days obviously but that appointment doesn't seem like it'll work.

Good win. Clean sheet a nice bonus. Interesting that Leigh played up top when he came on.

Aye, would be doing my nut at that. Either a lack of confidence (most likely) or a team instruction in which case they are overcomplicating things. They’re not the worst team I’ve seen but this kind of loss is the kind a relegation team is on the end of.

Good win for Doncaster at Gillingham as well.

One thing I’ve learned from watching us play this way over the last few years is that League Two players can sometimes be too thick to have the common sense to override the plan when it’s obviously the right thing to do. We love short corners, and sometimes they’re really effective, but there’s a few occasions now where we’ve won one right at the end of the first half or the match, it’s blatantly obvious the ref is going to blow up if we take it short, and we do it anyway then look annoyed. Like they can’t think for themselves.

It’s team instruction, I would honestly say Williamson would take relegation and the sack ahead of maybe going 4-4-2 or shoving a defender up front and going long etc etc

It is why he should have been sacked 2 weeks ago and got someone else in, to be in deep relegation sh*te and have a stubborn pig headed manager thinking he’s building Barcelona mark II rather than look at some basics to just restore a little pride and passion to it.

We now are just wasting huge clumps of cash on a totally worthless cause which will probably end sometime in march

Big pressure on us now with those two results.

Carlisle will need time to gel the new players but not sure they have much time to allow that to happen.

Good bounce back win from losing to us for Donny, Gills don’t seem to be able to arrest their slide.

Finally we break the Brunton Park hoodoo after 40 years.

I don't think we got out of second gear, first gear in the first half, but we didn't need to as Carlisle were so toothless.

The Carlisle fans on here, apart from the Carver chap, were right, there is no way they are escaping the drop this season with Wiliamson's style of football.

I liked the look of Kadeem Harris though, surprised Carlisle haven't extended his contract yet, unless that was a one-off performance from him?

As I say, sorry Carlisle fans, but not looking good for you.

Issue for Carlisle is in a relegation battle you can’t really football your way out of it. Most teams that dig themselves out the mire try and become hard to beat and solid first and foremost and go from there.

Probably really needed a Coleman or Derek Adam’s type manager rather than a footballing one.

Not a classic, but a really hard working away performance by the lads. I never bought into this, we will win 3 or 4 nil because they’re bottom, it was never going to be an easy game.

Really happy with that, hope Carlisle enjoyed their big day out;)

I am not fussed about relegation it happens and teams have ups and downs but the thing you do want is some hope……that things can turn itself about.

My biggest issue here regardless of anything is that we are so utterly boring……and heck I live in Manchester cannot get there much and mostly have to listen to it………6000 b*ggers are paying £20 odd weekly to watch that tedious dull boring plodding crap.

Why some managers think playing constant keepball holding 60-70%possession is a sign of a great performance, stats and figures.

All you want as a fan is some excitement and chances doesn’t matter how it’s done……getting the ball forward and having a go……if it’s done on the ground great if done more direct great but you want chances and thinking you at least had a go.

Carlisle since the new managerial change judge their games not by chances or r having a go or goals it’s all little totally irrelevant stats and figures fans don’t give a sh*t about and don’t pay money to see

Winning 0-1 at Walsall. Scott Hogan with the goal, Aaron Nemane with yet another assist.

New boys Jay Williams and Dan Crowley straight into the side. Tommi O’Reilly on the bench.

wasn’t as high on George Abbott as others to begin with but he really is starting to look very special. Slightly nervous he’s played his way into Spurs doing something rash and recalling him to loan him out higher up

1-1 now. Bad goalkeeping, McGill at fault.

Chesterfield certainly the better side but for the 3rd game in a row an awful refereeing decision costs us a goal. At least they’re consistent

We’ve been stinking. Chesterfield should be a few goals up here.
That's about the shape of how our games go at the moment. Lost a bunch of games we've been better in. We are missing our strikers really bad.

Our defending off set pieces is truly abject. Newport been the better team but we haven’t half helped them.

We've had 63% of possession at Morecambe yet created very little. All feels very hit and hope going forward from us at times. Midfield trio of Sanders, Holicek and Tabiner doesn't work, shocker.

Awful and largely on Moore this, play one centre half and generally you’ll concede goals. Two absolutely awful ones to concede by the way especially the first!

We’ve had chances and Hackford should of had us level if not ahead with two times being clean through but we’ve been poor and rightly booed off.

Get Stockley, Hennigan and Haeper on.

Now losing 2-1. Normality restored. Bottom of the form table losing to top of the form table…

we look forward to receiving your inflated bids for Alex Bass and Matty Platt on Monday
