I'm probably the only one watching Harrogate v Cheltenham. Cracking header by Luke Young, shame for him it was in the wrong net.

Good delivery on that corner for Harrogates second goal. Imagine that a corner beating the first man, Vale should try that some time.

Feel sorry for Cheltenham fans. Long way to go to watch that abject performance.

Very poor quality game. Couple of set pieces do the damage. Both sides look destined for mid-table.

Cheltenham were pretty ordinary but I do think Harrogate are a bit better than they get credit for. Nothing flash but an organised team who break well and have one of the best keepers in the league in Belshaw. That can take you a fair way.

Not really. The 2023 playoffs were the last bit of happiness at Brunton park. Since then it’s been nothing but misery and disappointment. They are simply reminding depressed fans that it is possible to be happy at football, so here buy a ticket, cos yes there’s a 99% chance that it will be another defeat, but fans are much more inclined to hear that 1% chance that things might turn out ok tomorrow. Not to mention the engagements it will no doubt get. It’s simple marketing. Certainly not “mental”.

“Mental”
“Weird”
“Embarrassing”
“Ram it (an X post by a 20yr old media kid) down their throats”

Why why does it bother you so much?

There’s absolutely nothing any official club X account could post that would get under my skin like this.

I just don’t think it’s worth getting aggravated over ahead of what should be your easiest game of the season.

Been that long since we played I’d completely forgotten about that. He missed the MK game didn’t he, so yeah be 2 more (this & Vale)

In that case, Oldaker replaces him in my line up, very much like for like tbf

Yeah it is like for like.

Hopefully Oldaker comes in and keeps the shirt - for all the Banks is a class act, DJ is younger and was my POTS prior to MK Dons away.

Got a feeling it’ll be a draw tomorrow - 2-2

Good win tonight. We didn't let Cheltenham play and closed them down at every opportunity. Morris has made a massive difference and has transformed performances in the last 2 games by acting as a rock in midfield. The BBC says they scored 2 own goals but the second definitely looked like a Sims header from where I was standing.

Two wins on the bounce for only the second time this season and a good performance in the FA Cup. If we can beat Colchester on Tuesday I'll start to feel slightly more optimistic about the chances of staying up. So that'll put the kibosh on it.

Whilst we’re 100% gone, with the new signings I am still hoping and even expecting to see some improvements in performances and results before the end of the season. The problem is it’ll take at least a good month or two for these players to settle in and gel as a team, which will be way too late. I’m not expecting 9 new players to be thrown together and be able to get a result against Bradford that’s for sure.

Be nice to get a goal but I’m sticking with my original prediction of a 3-0 away win.

Absolutely turgid performance and losing by sticking it in our own net twice seems appropriate. Ethan Williams in his 25 minute cameo on debut just about the only player who looked like he wanted to be there.

Harrogate a well organised side and hard to see them being in too much trouble. We'll finish around where we are now - lower mid table.

Honestly think that was the worst we've played all season. Too many changes in the team, including 3 starters making their EFL debuts.

Ethan Williams really was the only positive.

Having played you twice, I think that's about right. Not terrible by any means but not great. I think on your first season back down, midtable isn't too bad. We're expecting more because we've spent a lot of money.

Don't Yorkshiremen claim to be made of stern stuff?

Crying over a simple twitter post proves otherwise.

You're grown men, get a grip eh.

99% chance of defeat? That equates to a 1/100 shot.

That makes the 6/5 available on a Bradford City win one of the greatest value bets of all time.

I hope you've lumped on!

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Most Carlisle fans I think are relegation battle hardened.

Therefore this spells maybe three months of unity I’d say for Williamson where they know only chance is to now back this manager and team however hated they are.

It’s his only real period to prove he can improve side for next season regardless of league in

Dog & Duck 3-0 Carlisle.
August ‘25 in the Conference.

“But at least we beat Bradford in the Play Off’s lads”.

When we return back into league two someday we can remind you lot what league one looks like while your still back down here

Blimey, I didn’t realise the Bradford fans were this thin skinned. Try laughing it off lads?

Carlisle do move the ball around very nicely but you can see the costly error coming any moment. Not sure this style of play is the best for a relegation scrap though.
