Team selection for Vale suggests truth in the Rugby game. Rodney injured, Visser injured, Hurst only on the bench!

Positives Worrall is back and starts and James Gibbons makes the bench.

Losing Rodders is a blow.

Leon Legge not in the squad, rumours he’s off to Oldham.

If there's any team to throw this away it's us, hope I'm wrong.

About time amoo had a good game for us as hes been shite this season. If something happens to brown that will leave us with a problem with a youth team keeper on the bench thats conceded 24 goals in 8 games so far this season. Rodney out isn't great either as he has pace and is our top scorer. I wanted us play 2 upfront but couldn't really do that will pope and rodney out and Cullen probably not fit enough to start games. I dont think worrall will be fit enough to play the whole 90 minutes either.

Well offside. Second time that's happened to us recently.

What the hell I didn't expect that. I've seen some shocking performances this season but I think Grimsby's first half might be the worst I've seen so far. Should have been 3 if it wasn't for a good save. The Grimsby team really seem to be getting frustrated, the kick out at Beestin showed that.

I can't imagine they'll come out in the 2nd half like that though, we just need to keep playing like we are and hold on.
We’ve been telling you for weeks how shit we are now finally you might just get it.

The XI looks fairly strong, Gibbons aside its not bad.

Hurst I guess will come on later for Woz.

Need to sort a keeper out really if Dino is out for a few weeks. Amoo seems nervous, probably of doing his hammy again he seems to not be using his pace at all. Understandable but hopefully confidence will return over a few games.

Apparently it wasn’t rugby the official line is “injured during a warm up game of Hand Ball )

Every week I think we can’t possibly get any worse and then every week we manage it.

We deserve to have lost this but the officials haven’t half helped it over the line

I know you're old and senile but surely you know the offside rule
Was going off the commentary, they agreed it was a yard offside. They've since seen a freeze frame of it and agreed it was definitely offside but not a yard off. I know you're probably cumming in your Spideyman pants right not but surely you can listen to what's being said.

We’ve just had a brilliant snowstorm. It’s just about stopped now but it’s left a layer of snow which I imagine the club are working hard to clear.

5 changes for us, including in goal.

Good to see Whitehouse get a start, imo one of our best performers whenever he's played. Talking of performers, expect Ebou to be well up for it today.

We had awful snow for hours this morning at Vale but pitch fully clear, blue lines painted though just in case!

How is that not a penalty? Gilliead gets tripped but booked for diving, mental considering the penalties we've had against us this year

About time we got a decision. Habergham pulled out of the challenge, it looked to me like Gilliead's and Habergham's feet came together at the same time and his momentum carried him over, so not sure if it was really a trip. We could have had a pen and few mins before I thought.

Probably got Cambridge in their accas like I have!

Rumour has it they both have Claret and Amber wallpaper and Valley Parade canvases dotted round their gaff.
