MK now level. Not sure a draw is that much good to either team tbh.

Well that all a bit non-league: a mostly scrappy game with only a few standout moments but that none the less ended up in an intensely exciting final 10 minutes where everything was to play for...

Will take that, we've played better in other games and lost. And so it did turn out that bringing on both Matt and WIckham made a difference. McGeouch impressive too.

Well, short on quality but got the drama at the end. Thought it was a real relegation story conceding late but the MPH pushed intot he box straight after and got bundled down for a reasonably clear pen. Fair play to Connor for burying that. O'keefe also off for second yeelow so hung on with ten men including a smart save from their keeper come up for a corner at the death. Phew.

Big result for FGR that. Getting those kind of wins are the ones that might just be what kickstarts your season.

Get the fuck in, what an end to the game that was. Concede a sickening late equaliser in the 89th, win a pen in the 92nd, get a player sent off in the aftermath, score the pen (just about) and then somehow hang on with our keeper making a cracking save from a 100th minute bullet header from their keeper.

Huge 3 points, although losing 2 key defenders to injury and suspension is a bit of a blow.

We’ve played Cambridge in 3 different divisions, that was definitely not any better in terms of quality then the when both teams were in the Conference.

Is this the same Cambridge who were apparently miles better than us and we should be looking up to?

They're wank. Enjoy relegation lads x

Well I hope your right, we play them in a couple of weeks and it will be a game both sides will 3 points from. I'm not holding my breath, our home form is miserable

That was an odd game, first 15-20 minutes Cambridge looked pretty decent, some slick passing and movement in the final third but didn't really create too much...mind you, we had a shot on target after just over a minute, can't remember that happening before this season. After that we sort of got into our game a bit more and started to look threatening, a lovely move and smart header from March gave us a first half lead. Second half was largely dreadful until the very end...well described above...but to be fair, this was a game between two poor teams and it isn't hard to see why both are near the bottom of the table.

We are very very good . I’ll take a point away at Bolton. That said, this conceding in the 90 odd minute is annoying. I feel like this division is going to be dominated by the big clubs after Xmas but hopefully we can be the best of the rest and end up top half / playoffs

Frustrating night last night. We were a bit shaky at the back but missed 4 absolute sitters.

Any sort of composure and we’d probably of won the game.

Whittaker when the keeper fucked up just put it straight at him, to the left of the keeper and it’s 1-0.

Bali Mumba missed the opposite corner by millimetres, I thought it was in.

Hardie put it over the bar from 5 yards, an absolutely shocking miss.

Ennis in the second half skied it from inside the box after it had been pulled back across.

Just wasn’t our night. Vale had plenty of half chances and probably deserved a goal or two but we should have won that if we had any ounce of composure about ourselves. Need Dan Scarr back as we look a bit open without him.

Good support from Vale, long way to go on a Friday night and made good noise particularly once they went in front.

Frustrating evening, but we’ve shown our bounce back ability before and I have no doubts we’ll do the same again, especially with Mayor, Mikel Miller, and Scarr all returning.
I think that's a little bit disingenuous.

Yes, you had some chances, particularly towards the end, but you would expect that from a top of the table team towards the end of a game where they're behind. Your commentator said it should be 3-2 but I don't entirely agree with that.

We had equally as good chances and probably should have put the game to bed.

Your manager recognised that we deserved to win. I thought we were well worthy of the points.

We are appalling at the moment, just hoping and hoping we will win a game again at some point. At least we scored I guess.

Both sides were fairly wasteful but made a good spectacle I thought in the main.

Wilson is starting to hit real form now (que an injury is due!)

Pretty buzzing at the moment with how it’s gone, we’ve responded to the Oxford debacle well and it’s probably helped in that we seem to have now found a right balance at the back and more importantly midfield. DJ at centre of a back three has been outstanding and with Garrity back we’ve stopped conceding, can’t be coincidence that when he was out we got overrun and conceded 9 in 3 games.

I thought we’d be fine this season but didn’t expect us to do as well as we have so far which is pleasing. It’s also great that despite our top scorer being out and 8 of the 10 outfield players being from last seasons promotion squad that we are able to go there and put in a performance like that, some of the lads have really stepped up that maybe I wasn’t so sure would.

Big three games to the half way point now, tricky tie at Bristol Rovers who are seemingly fairly similar to us in how they’ve stepped up followed by two home games against sides down the bottom.

That said it was typical Vale we get battered 4-0 at a team that hasn’t won at home in months then go and beat a side that had won all 9! So can’t take anything for granted at home to Accrington and Morecambe! This is Vale after all!

what at shithousery???.....Shocking referee but we are not good at present. Would be in the bottom half if we finished on 90 mins but luck and squad depth is getting us through.

We will invest as Evatt likes to do in January but i think he yet does not know his best 11
No better than we was last season yet we are in the play-offs.
Bar Shef Wed and Ipswich i dont see anyone else good enough for the championship

Dunno about that. We’re pretty inconsistent, and if you can park the bus and hit us on the counter, you could do pretty well.

Getting sick of Evatt picking Kachunga every game. It's groundhog day with Bolton ineffective and clueless while he is on the pitch then as soon as he is substituted we dominate and come back in the game. Played his 18th game of the season on Friday, he has 0 league goals and one assist. Looking at his stats he has 0 successful crosses this season and 3 on target shots. In 18 games ! All he does is roll and dive around the pitch hoping to win a free kick. He offers nothing. Evatt refuses to see this as he is a big earner so has to try and justify his wasted spend and stubbornly picks him every week His attacking performance currently places him at 383rd out of 443 for EFL League One Players. Needs replacing in January and in the meantime I would change the system so we don't have to accommodate him as Evatt clearly thinks none of our other players can do the role.

Access all areas for Sky apparently today - dressing room footage and interview with managers mid match but probably depends on what the score is !

Lincoln were comfortably the better side for the first half an hour, probably Shrewsbury's worst home performance of the season. The Lincoln keeper somehow picks up an "injury" despite not having anything to do in the game, both teams have their tactical instructions and the game changed. It must have been pre planned as Lincoln didn't need to change anything, they were well on top. Most sides seem to do it now in League 1 (we do it a lot), but I'd like to see it stop.

After that, a silly penalty put Shrewsbury ahead, then the usual Shipley cross to Bayliss in the 2nd half and it was game over.

That used to happen at around the 70 minute mark when the Crowleys were running the show at Lincoln...fans from pretty much every club they played against seemed to have noticed...but they continued to get away with it. Can't remember if they are still deploying the tactic now they are at Pompey...maybe one of their fans can confirm if it is a regular thing.

This is our rough patch of the season, without a doubt. Thankfully, it's resulting in draws rather than defeats. We're still never looking like losing games. Good time to get it out the way but the manner in which we drop points is disappointing.

Be interesting to see I guess. We’re on Sky against Peterborough in January but suspect it would be a very short conversation with DC if he would allow that.

Whereas you’d probably have Ainsworth and Cowley having a lot to say as they seem quite open to the media although as you suggest they might be fully focused on the game .

was warned by Shef Wed fans on here that he was useless......Huddersfield fans loved him
Maybe we might have to cut our losses with him come January
I know if Saddler or Bodvarrson had 18 games we would have more points on the board

1.0 up, Mehmeti scored…does the Albanian “double eagle” gesture which the Serbian national team seemed to get so upset by v Switzerland…not sure Pompey are famed for their Serbian element but there you go.

Pompey fans booing at half time, apart from a 5-10 min spell they've been pretty disjointed. That said, we're generally worse in the second half of games, often having puffed ourselves out, so no room for complacency, especially only being 1-0 up.

Yeah exactly as i saw the game. Very comfortable first 30 minutes but didnt take chances. Never known us deploy that tactic this season.

First goal is key for us this season. We concede first and I never expect us to come back.

Stupid pen on stroke of half time cemmented the defeat for us.
