oh yeah, he'll almost certainly be gone in January, just hope we don't fold at the first bid that comes in.Mehmeti at Wycombe looks a cut above this level.
Evans started that with Stevenage.. we have actually done it under DC a few times. That used to happen at around the 70 minute mark when the Crowleys were running the show at Lincoln...fans from pretty much every club they played against seemed to have noticed...but they continued to get away with it. Can't remember if they are still deploying the tactic now they are at Pompey...maybe one of their fans can confirm if it is a regular thing.

If it is our rough patch, that bodes well because we’re top of the form table of the last six games. This is our rough patch of the season, without a doubt. Thankfully, it's resulting in draws rather than defeats. We're still never looking like losing games. Good time to get it out the way but the manner in which we drop points is disappointing.
The fans have been pretty patient with the Cowleys, generally. However, one league win since September 3rd and going game to game, barely creating any chances has certainly turned many against them. Our excellent start to the season seems a long time ago.Pompey fans booing at half time, apart from a 5-10 min spell they've been pretty disjointed. That said, we're generally worse in the second half of games, often having puffed ourselves out, so no room for complacency, especially only being 1-0 up.
It's the sort of functional/attritional football that won't keep the fans onside for too long. It's great when you're picking up 1-0 wins but if you dry up in front of goal and teams figure you out, you're left with not only dull games but not winning either. I think the Cowleys still have a bit of a lower league mentality of nick a goal and shut up shop and with your budget you can do so much better. The fans have been pretty patient with the Cowleys, generally. We desperately need a spark so getting either Tom Lowery or Michael Jacobs back from injury at some point in the future is key.
There are some big decisions needed over our loans come January. After a bright start, Josh Koroma has been hugely disappointing and is likely to return to Huddersfield. It's a similar story for Dane Scarlett, but Cowley still rates him highly so I reckon we'll try to retain him. Josh Griffiths has been OK in goal so will likely stay. Owen Dale has been a real success but there are rumours that Blackpool want him back.
