That may be true (it's not on most countbacks) , but ask yourself this would they attract 20k plus if situated 12m miles from 3 of the biggest clubs in Europe? we sold 8k season tickets knowing that fans would be unlikely to go to matches this after consecutive relegations and administration, this was more than Blackburn in the championship, you need to look at the number of clubs in the North West then look at the catchment area for Portsmouth before you can even start talking about size of clubs, Pompey average 17k or 18k in league one, We would achieve similar, i saw Bolton play Blackburn back in the old third division with 32k despite 15? other league clubs in the North West. Your spouting crap.

A couple of seasons ago when Portsmouth were propping up this league they were still pretty much selling out their home tickets.
At the other end of the spectrum I’ve been to Fratton Park for a second tier fixture when there’s barely been 6,000 on and have been to Burnden for an old 4th division clash when less than 4000 turned up.
Bolton fans are a fickle bunch, as proved by this forum. They only show their faces when they are doing well.

The was at least 4 posters here from Bolton around August time......The amount of personal shit dished out meant that they soon went elsewhere.

What does sign language have to do with the written/typed word. You clearly do not understand it.

Quite funny how Masi is now using capital letters and full stops on his second account to try and hide that it’s him.
It’s the saddest attempt at hiding a second account since Redfox said ‘I’m not Carver’.

East way to settle the Pompey/Bolton debate is by seeing who brought most fans to Blundell Park last time we played them both.
Pompey was around 1200ish.
Bolton yesterday brought fuck all, therefore Pompey are obviously bigger.

Next.

In all fairness I would say Bolton and Pompey are similar sized clubs.

Feels like it's been a while since we were in L2, although it hasn't been that long.

Shame about Grimsby going down, would have liked to play them again, had a great time up there in NL and huge respect for their fan base after the play off final that season.

Any chance of staying up?
Cheers mate, feeling is mutual regarding Bristol Rovers from a fair few Town fans as well. You lot were a better side than us that season and didn't gloat, very respectful of the fact that it was a very tough way to miss out on promotion.

There was a few hours of hope before Colchester won but I don't see it happening now, it's too late. A shame as we're much more solid and playing a bit better.

Its actually very easy to set up multiple accounts. During the 1st lockdown i got so bored i bought another sim card for an old phone and set up 3 twitter accounts. I used one on this phone as my usual left wing self. I had another one as a right wing type and a third one as a fundamentalist evangelical christian and amused myself by starting arguments where i contradicted anything i posted and riled the extremists on all sides. Its probably why i enjoy arguing with him, i have experience of winding up his kind and know what buttons to press. Luckily i got Netflix in May, I discovered Ozark and stopped. The West Wing is my latest thing so that occupies my spare time but its always good to do a bit of people fishing.

New owners must give you a fair bit of optimism.

I only watched the first half of the game yesterday as I was on a train but some of the touches from the rubbish Hamez Hanson and some of his hold up play was quality. If Hurst had have had more time and we had a better partner for Hanson I reckon we'd have had a far better shot at safety.

Yeah true, but it's also a voyage into the unknown a bit. Who knows what next season holds for us.
You aren't relegated yet and its still possible, although difficult, to get out of it. Going by the last 2 seasons in the NL its even more of a circus than it usually is. As far as the new owners go its trusting them to do the right things that is hard. Ours turned out to be very good in most ways.

Restrictions have been lifted 1 week and Masi51 is suggesting we both go out with him. He seems to be lonely.

The irony of the situation is that a Rovers 'legend' (I prefer the term twat though) is the one at fault for taking you down.

Fingers crossed for a quick bounce back though, if you do go down.

Is that all you have got. I have better things to do than spend more than a few hours a week on you. Much more important than hiding in bushes waiting for passers by like you probably do.
