Forgetfulness within Tory ranks appears to be RIFE. Cameron can't remember which of the two claret and blue teams he's supposed to support, the supremely absent-minded Grant Schapps has managed to forget both about his pseudonym and his Wikipedia editing antics, and the party as a whole seem to have forgotten to give the electorate a compelling reason to vote for them, preferring instead to pursue some weird scaremongering narrative that nobody particularly appears to be buying. I hope for their sake that they recover from this bout of collective amnesia before May 7th.

There is nothing truthful about him or Miliband. Both automatons told what to do, say, or behave. He was obviously told to crank it up instead of taking the incentive and trying it himself - way too transparent. Not many natural politicians left in England it seems.

Miliband is over-rehearsed but at least his ideas are his own. Not convinced Cameron has had an original thought in his 10 years in politics. Unless he actually thought up The Big Society which the Tories dispensed with rather quickly.

Even with Miliband though you can see in his performances, its like he's trying to impress his backroom staff behind the scenes, instead of being naturally passionate, spontaneous and looking like someone who has ideas on how to take the UK forward. In other words, a leader.

What are the party endorsements like round where y'all are? There seems to be a conspicuous lack of stickers and placards round here. All I've come across is a Lib Dem sticker bearing the names of party councillors in a safe Lib Dem ward, and a large blue, somewhat ostentatious Anne Milton board that some dweeb's tied to their hedge. Perhaps the electorate are just unenthused or maybe most of the town's residents are simply incapacitated, buried under a pile of election literature (I've actually received a leaflet from seven of the eight parties standing here, which includes the Greenbelt Group and The Peace Party. The one exception is the cannabis lady, but I presume she's too stoned to undertake the arduous task of shoving a piece of paper through a letterbox). With little over a week to go it looks as though APATHY REIGNS

I'll admit I voted for the butcher without hesitation. She's less likely to send poor, innocent creatures to their deaths.

I've seen two signs in the whole of Putney and Roehampton. Both Labour. Not much enthusiasm but I suspect a lot of people here are secret Tories.

Here where I live there isn't much in terms of placards. There is one UKIP one and one Labour one but Keith Simpson (the current Tory MP) seems to be so sure of his re-election (and has every right to be) that he isn't actually doing any campaigning. He's probably sitting at home compiling his summer reading list to send out to the MPs.

If I drive 5 minutes either way down the road though I end up in different constituencies. Norfolk North, especially around North Walsham, is covered with Lib Dem signs supporting Norman Lamb. The other way is Norwich North and the signs are everywhere mainly supporting either the incumbent Conservative Chloe Smith (who I met last week actually) and the Labour challenger Jessica Asato. Going to be a close race there.

Anyone been watching the election debates on the Daily Politics show? They've been pretty decent, if not just to see Andrew Neill getting irate with politicians trying to wriggle out of answering his questions.

Cameron being torn apart by teenagers on Radio1 was hilarious. Bumbling idiot! Couldn't answer very basic questions. Then to be offered a £1k bet by Chris Smith (presenter) that he would not get a majority topped it off!

Voting for the 1st time ever. Voting Green, although I live in a guaranteed Labour constituency..

Loads of SNP stickers on windows near me for sure. 15 years ago most would have been Labour ones.

Finally made my mind up for my first vote, voting Labour. The tuition fees being lowered will be big for me personally as well as Labour aligning more to the left like myself helps too.

I also quite like Miliband, seems an alright bloke and I feel I've agreed with what he has to say and the way he says it in the debates I've seen.

Not many posters etc out here either by the way. A few long threads of Tory placards across farmers' fields by the roadside, then the odd Labour one in individual windows. The only place I've seen a decent number of placards out from multiple people is Labour regalia on Manchester Road down a bit from Gigg Lane. Bury's weirdly enough been a Tory seat historically and they're often used used as guinea pigs for right-wing ideas. Dunno where you can look for constituency polls but it might be changing hands.

Before the campaign started it was a view that Cameron was a real leader and Miliband was nothing like a leader.

over the last 3 weeks I have the view its changed the other way, yep a lot seems scripted but Miliband has come out fighting in a dogged way while Cameron has hidden or stuttered or blundered about.

I thought that Ed made a brave but good move being interviewed by Brand, he has over 1 million youtube followers and most will be under 30. Its the forgotten generation of an election based on families, NHS, house building and immigration.

All the grief of whether Ed should be seeing someone like Brand is mainly from out of touch Tories who only communicate with their own types.

All I have seen around here is Conservative banners and signs, its always been a majority Tory area but hopefully the tide will start to turn, this years Labour candidate is very good and is working very hard to get out there.. Plus, the Tories may have the banners, but Labour have literally invaded Social Media and have been very strong in their campaign.

Fingers Crossed, but unfortunately around here its a long shot..

My wife works near Aldershot so knows quite a lot of Nepalese. They work alongside her in the hospital. They are sending money home.

UKIP are a disgrace.

Its disasters such as Nepal that highlights how the foreign aid budget is very necessary. How could we ignore that 10,000 people have potentially been killed and an entire country rocked to its core. Even an unknown amount of UK citizens out there climbing.

We have issues in the UK, but we cant lose our humanity just because of nationality.

I hate how our society has become and its bile like UKIP that fuels such hatred and social division.
