The hypocrisy in showing a photoshopped Miliband in tails as if he's extremely posh and has a nanny, is farcical when his bum chums at Downing St dress like that for supper at 8 every night. Who the fuck buys The Sun these days anyway, the working class wont as it doesn't now have tits in it apart from the journalists and z-list celebs to do columns for them.

Lot of Lib Dems in the relegation zone there. Could be prophetic.

Heh. Having thought about this for longer than I really ought to have done the LDs will probably only have a little bit of League 2 representation before long. Yeovil, Colchester and Kingston & Surbiton (where Wimbledon may not be residing for much longer) are the only seats that you'd expect them to hold. Cheltenham may well also be retained but their football team could have been dumped into the Conference by then, Portsmouth South is extremely messy in light of the Mike Hancock debacle and Burnley and Norwich South will surely go red.

Speaking of disingenuous leaflets, I've had one through from the Lib Dems where the caption next to the graph exclaims that "It's so close here!" It really isn't. The Tories have a comfortable, near 8k, majority. Granted the previous two elections really were very tight so it's perhaps a claim not totally without foundation but they'd really have to buck the national trend to mount a serious challenge.

I see the Monster Raving Looney Party re standing in some areas if people want a vote.

some of their election promises are:

* Tax payers to receive Nectar Points from HMRC
* Besides leap years, there needs to be hop, skip, and jump years
* We will reduce the national debt by selling the castles back to the French. (Buyer dismantles)

More than two million people buy it every day.

There is a pretty dodgy graphy on the Lib Dem leaflet I've got through the door. It seems to be a national trend.

Penultimate Question Time before the election tonight. SNP, Greens and UKIP will all be represented, but the LDs will not.

Christ they don't half seem irrelevant at the minute.

The graph is actually a fairly disappointing feature of my leaflet. I feel sure the LD 39% bar should be a mere millimetre short of the Con 54% bar, but instead it's a full TWO AND A HALF CENTIMETRES smaller!!! They need to sack the bastard that produced this one.

its bizarre really, their campaign sort've gives a view of giving up, maybe they have decided to take the big hit, then re-group, or maybe they actually do not want in a position to be in government next time.

The predictions for those UKIP seats/target seats looks a bit off, I agree. Handy little guide though, looks broadly accurate.

Can you judge a man by the company he keeps?

Should get some protest votes which would previously have gone to LibDems, from voters who think Greens and UKIP are too extreme.

I pity them that have the limited intelligence to go out and buy that shit.

And yet, they're all allowed to vote, so you can't just write them off.

You can't trust a man who pretends he likes football. Just say it ain't your cup of tea, no shame in that.

Nick Clegg essentially saying today that a vote for the Lib Dems is a vote for the Tories.

2001: "Many of those who have spoken in the debate or have written about the subject are either lawyers or football fans, but I have to confess that I am neither."

List of things politicians should never attempt on campaign trail/at party conferences:

1. Singing, or anything like it. No. NO. JESUS GOD NO.
2. Eating. Especially sausages or similarly shaped foodstuffs.
3. Affecting sporting fandom for "man of the people" purposes (and related, this sort of thing).

:bg: That Charles Kennedy one never fails to amuse me. You might have put up some kind of warning about Peter Lilley coming up on our screens though.

Is the entire Conservative campaign now reduced to shouting about the SNP?

I thought Miliband was strong on Andew Marr this morning. Got BoJo a bit stressed.
