Great start for us today, adding pace to the side seems to have made a massive difference. Shame about Westwood getting sent off but thankfully it didn't cost us, great goal from Joao as well. Ironically there's rumours he's set to join Reading, that goal should add another million on the fee.

Weird one for us, we looked ok but let in two horrid goals. Think Muric will be fine, bigger concern is how reliant we are on Ben watson for how we are trying to play. Really need to replace him with a better (fitter!) player

Bowyer is class, we’ve actually got a real chance with him in charge. Set us up perfectly and made the right subs at bang the right time.

We weren’t brilliant, but that’s to be expected all things considered but never, ever felt threatened by Blackburn, even their goal was pure fluke. Don’t think they created one clear cut chance. We should have got a third towards the end.

We were overrun in midfield quite a lot and our need for more midfielders was evident, hope that is rectified next week. Was impressed with Gallagher when he came on, comfortable on the ball and good decision making which belies his age and experience.

Blackburn are in a world of trouble if that’s all they can muster up at home against our threadbare side.

Interesting Mowbray says they weren’t helped by the officials, they seem to give all the 50/50 decisions Blackburn’s way and somehow fabricated 6 extra minutes at the end which then ended up being 7 or 8.
