Got what we deserved. Taught bit of a Championship lesson today.

Worst we’ve played all season, not going to get away with that against a good PNE side.

Would’ve been a travesty if we hadn’t won that tbh. Thought Kayal should’ve been off for the challenge on Rafferty.

I was at NFL today and I’ll be honest, as soon as Kayal made the foul I walked out the boozer to the stadium so didn’t hang around for the replays so can’t say until I’ve seen it again.

Yeah, you were in control from minute one. We were poor, so sloppy in possession, Gallagher worst I’ve seen him and not happy with his dive, first time he’s done that and hopefully last.

Soft penalty I thought but you deserved 3 points so whatever.

Good side Preston, not spectacular but think my mate summed you up well in a text he sent me after the game “proper Championship side”. Showed us where we need to get to.

Preston are everything we aren’t, on about a third of the income. The penalties help of course but they are definitely heading for top 6 if not top 2 if the luck continues.

Not one of the penalties has been contentious, you make your own 'luck'.

Don't think we were anywhere near our best, but still looked comfortable throughout. If Barky and Maguire were at their ruthless best, we could have really put on a show. Both did well but just weren't clinical at all.

You could tell Charlton had 'one of those days' though, and couldn't really get going. They're obviously a better team than they showed today.

Losing DJ so early on was a blow but Gally came on and was superb.

Got the same feeling about this team as I did during the King Billy days. Although I'm convinced that this team can go even further.

We've come a long way from those rancid farcical Graham Westley days a few years back. Fuck me, that was bad. Shudder.

Feels good to be top, if only for 24hrs.

Forgot to record the game and doesn’t look like the highlights are in the sky sports app.

Have you got any clips of the Kayal challenge? Seen a few Charlton fans saying he should have gone.

Also see that Jason Pearce has apologised for giving the penalty away so looks like I got that wrong.

Highlights on sky sports app.

Nice one. Usually appear on the score centre app, not this game for some reason.

Yeah, on second viewing. It’s a penalty.

Didn’t show the Kayal challenge, couldn’t have been that bad :shut:

If Pearson did it, he'd have gone.

He should have been sent off twice, one for the sending off offence, then for leaving his foot in not long after which the ref bottled a second yellow for.

Pretty dreadful performance from Fulham on Saturday, worst of the season by quite a distance. We've been lucky there hasn't been a breakaway team (or teams) and we're still only 5 points off the top in the very tight chasing pack. However, only getting 4 points from the last 4 fixtures has been terrible:

Stoke (A) - 0-2
Luton (H) - 3-2
Boro (A) - 0-0
Hull (H) - 0-3

3 goalless games with our frontline is unacceptable.

If you have Sky, they have 15 minute highlights packages of every game each week on the "on demand" bit.

Bloody typical. And Mitrovic was inspired on that game too...

Yeah, this place is finished sadly.

Might be best to just pull the plug now.

Shame.

League Two and non league are definitely most popular !

Yet on 1FF they are the quietest! .

Way round that is to start poking your tangerine friends. That usually starts a post fest

They're only Blackpool fans if they might go up.

We could always put out an invitation on our clubs main forums.

Although, there are quite a few nerds on our forum, and I don't want them coming on here showing us up.

You lot are lucky that me, Tom, SF and LeylandWhite are cool as fuck, because we really do have some goons amongst our ranks.

Don't expect it to be a pretty game today and we're without our midfield general Hogg which is a blow, but we've looked decent defensively and on the counter so wouldn't totally rule out a point for us.

Reading away for us today. Another team down there with us but have had a little upturn in results of late with 7 points out of the last 9, including one against Preston which sticks out as an odd result!

Hopefully Brown is back fit otherwise we will struggle in attack. Quite annoying we have become so heavily reliant on him in the last few weeks, we used to attack from all over but was massively apparent last week that we didnt have a clue what to do without him. If he isnt fit and we start with a midfield of Cranie, Tunnicliffe, Pelly you really have to question what the likes of Berry, Shinnie, Moncur are doing at the club. A point would be more than welcome but with the state of our defence, I cant see it.

7 points from the last 9. Good performance last week and playing well since Bowen took over. Hopefully another 3 points before the international break.

Huddersfield at home for us today, they're in good form but quite confident of getting all 3 points.

Rudd

Fisher
Bauer
Davies
Rafferty

Gallagher
Browne

Bodin
Johnson
Barkhuizen

Stockley

I'd probably go something like that, not a clue what the actual team will be though. AN likes to keep us guessing.
