Cost us 2 points today
That's 7 pts we've thrown away in the last 10 mins in our last 4 games.
If we can start seeing games out playoffs are a realistic opportunity if not midtable beckons.

I'll bet you £100 you dont get playoffs?

Boiling people's piss about Declan Rudd on PNE online is amusing.

They're fucking morons. How anyone can sit there and say he's a good keeper and good enough for a team looking to get to the Prem is beyond me.

Weak clueless twats with no drive or determination to push themselves and constantly improve.

He gives me kittens every single time the ball is put into our box, or an opposition player opens up ready to let fly at our goal. My heart genuinely sinks and it shouldn't fucking be like that. You should at least have a modicum of confidence that your keeper will more often than not get the absolute basics right.

Guaranteed that the same people who defend Rudd are the same people who clap and sing along to the Lancashire Hotpots songs.

It's getting worse that forum. The snowflakes have taken over. You can't even criticise a player anymore without some gobshite jumping on your back telling you to shut up because you'll hurt the players feelings.

I wouldn't have bothered slating him if it wasn't for that pair of gimps jumping on people just for wanting an upgrade. Put it one way, if we had Sam Johnstone in goal then I think we would be top of the league right now.

Fantastic shotstopper.
Needs to command his area more, work on his kicking and talk to his defenders more.
He's certainly got potential to be a good keeper, but at the moment he doesn't seem to give the defenders infront of him as much confidence as Westwood does (or generally does, not so much atm).
I can't see us letting him go anywhere in the near future unless on loan.

We also have Wildsmith though another promising youngster, both have areas they need to improve but could both potentially be decent keepers at this level.
If they're both fit one should be out on loan to gain experience.
Although Wildsmith was injured in pre season so I'm not sure of his current circumstances.

Balls to a work in progress, maybe in the summer if Rudd & Ripley have left the building.

I'd be asking Wolves about John Ruddy's availability on loan personally.

Really important win this weekend for Fulham. To turn up at St. Andrews and grind out a 1-0 win in awful conditions on Saturday could hopefully be a turning point for us after the international break.

Only problem is Mitrovic is now suspended for the Friday night game v QPR after getting his 5th booking. He was an absolute mountain against Birmingham, and I can see us struggling to finish chances without having him as the focal point up top. Time for Bobby Reid to step up as an out and out striker.

Your squad on paper should piss this League.
If you get on a run I still think you'll be difficult to stop.

You're right, the squad is strong, it's just getting that consistency and ironing out the stupid defensive mistakes that's the issue right now. The acid test is the run up to Christmas - we play Swansea, Leeds, Bristol City and Preston, plus derbies against QPR and Brentford over a 4 week period.

Derby away on Saturday, not the best hunting ground for us in recent years but they're not in great shape right now, a draw wouldn't be the end of the world but should be going all out here.

Pearson will be back, i'm hoping DJ has recovered too and Browne/ Maguire come back unscathed from Ireland duty.

I'd probably go for:

Rudd
Fisher, Bauer, Davies, Rafferty
Pearson, Gallagher
Barkhuizen, Johnson, Maguire
Stockley

Ripley, Hughes, Ledson, Browne, Potts, Bodin, Nugent

Actually makes me sick seeing Barks in your squad. He should be wearing Tangerine.

South Africa supposedly trying to call him up for their next squad, wouldn't be surprised if we get some decent bids for him in the next couple of windows.

Agree with that team, would go the same. As you say not the best hunting ground and our record after international breaks is poor. I'd be happy with a point.

So we have Dirty Leeds on Saturday. We're going to lose.

This was a bloody brilliant day though. Many Leeds fans chucked out of the home ends.

Just hope it’s not a pummelling as it really could be given how we defend.

Hope we have used the break well and come back with fresh minds. Jones needed it especially I think, his press and decisions in recent weeks have been pretty harmful in my view.

Bristol City tomorrow, proper hard game. Would take a point now I reckon, but our away form is excellent. Over the last two years we’ve been amazing away against sides near the top so back us to get something

Have a decent record at the Hawthorns, full squad available, still think home win.

29 years since this..... 3 mins to go and 1 down.

Can't the remember the last time we went to a top six challenger and put in such a commanding and assured display. You can see that Swansea have quality but, for the most part, we shut them down before they even got started. Superb defending from the front and on another day we might have put the game to bed before half time.

Still early days, but I've been quietly impressed by what Rowett's done since he arrived. Slowly, but surely we are starting to come into our own as a decent footballing side, and the players look well up for it. Wallace is something else when he's in that kind of form.

Pleased we weren’t battered today even though we lost. Would have been easy for a few today after 4 defeats on the spin to just cave in, especially against Leeds but we didn’t worked incredibly hard, and could have got a point. Just couldn’t keep them out for a minute or so longer. First goal for them
I thought there was a pretty blatant foul on Brown so to get that equaliser so quickly felt like a bit of justice. Could feel the winner coming though as unfortunately both subs who came on couldn’t keep the ball to save there lives putting us under huge pressure.

Kind of understand why we did it today as he works so hard but can we please stop playing our number 9 with 50 odd goals to his name as a left winger?

Didn't get battered by any means, so that is small progress from the last two games, but we got what we deserved from this game (again)... nothing. Leeds are rightly at the top end of the division.

That said, Collins should've had a penalty in the first half and Izzy Brown was fouled in the build up to Bamford's goal. Simple as. And supposedly Pearson's offside goal shouldn't have been chalked off.

But we setup like the away side, played on the counter. I've never seen us have only 25% possession at home. We were too negative and were trying to play for a 0-0 draw.. with our defence, that isn't an option.

Think today was a bit of special case, we weren’t going to beat them playing like we normally do which is quite open. Absolutely asking for a an absolute shoeing if we did that.

Personally I thought we did really well today and that sort of pragmatism in terms of our approach to the game might be the way forward in my view if we are to stay up. We certainly made Leeds very uncomfortable at times, especially in the period after they scored.

Our defence is shocking and there’s no way in hell that Radlinger should be starting in goal over Collins. I’m quite happy with our attack and midfield but defensively massive changes need to be made in January if we’re to stand any kind of chance at all, but even then I think it’s safe enough to say we’ll be back in league one next season.
