So Matty Pearson is only about 1 yard onside - a shocker of a decision considering the player playing him onside is only 5 yards in front of him. Total guesswork and would’ve changed the game.

5 yards onside then?! Don’t normally mention officials but the Lino on that side struggled massively all game. Missed a few clear offside calls in the first half, missed the foul on Brown which he was the closest official too, and got the goal wrong too.

They got away with a lot I felt too, Ayling was very lucky not to get sent off for instance.

Our defence is shocking and there’s no way in hell that Radlinger should be starting in goal over Collins. I’m quite happy with our attack and midfield but defensively massive changes need to be made in January if we’re to stand any kind of chance at all, but even then I think it’s safe enough to say we’ll be back in league one next season.
Same.

Our defence is just unbelievable. Every single game without fail they leave an opposition player completely unmarked from cross/set piece = goal conceded, and then one of them plays a moronic pass out of defence straight to an opposition player = goal.

We've scored twice in 6 different games this season, and won none of them. Derby, Bristol City, and now Blackburn offered nothing except what we gift-wrapped for them. I mean ffs.

Just read that only Brentford have scored more in their last six games than us, they’ve got 15 points from those games, we’ve got 3.

No 5 yards in front of the linesman.

Good God. Last 6:

1-1 vs Swansea
2-2 vs WBA
1-2 vs Huddersfield
2-2 vs Bristol City
2-4 vs Stoke
2-3 vs Blackburn

I'm obviously glad we're finally scoring and we've not failed to score in our last 9 games, but our defence is badly letting us down. Can't do jack shit until January unfortunately. Just hope we come up against a team who for once don't punish the stupid mistakes we make, because that's seemingly the only way we're going to win games.

Not many of those in this league I’ve noticed.

Yep I was there. Ref was calling that as a foul and had called that as a foul just beforehand. He clearly has his leg taken from him as he is shielding the ball. That’s aside from everything else that went your way.

It’s because i was there that I’d a perfect vantage point of Ayling putting in a shin high tackle on Potts, awful challenge (almost as bad as getting beat by Potts for pace to make him make the challenge I’d suggest!) then had the audacity to scream in Potts face whilst on the floor as if he had dived and argue the toss with the ref about it. He got a yellow for that, probably about right another ref might have seen it different. Happened right in front of me. Couple of minutes later he hacked down someone else but no card. He looked very out of place in such a technically good side I thought!

Hes a Lincoln fan

Weirdly Luton could have won given the circumstances but also on another day without sheaa youd have lost by 4 or 5

Yeah bang on id say. One of those where its just a few moments that could change it either way. Cant begrudge the defeat too much even with those few moments, thought you were brilliant - just a shame we couldn't hold for a few more minutes.

Above was c&p'd from Outlaws.
Shows clearly that Pearson was onside.
Also shows clearly just how far out of line the Assistant was. He should be slaughtered by the assessor for that.
I'm still confused about how long it took him to raise the flag, several seconds.

Sort of decisions that teams at the top get tbf, just got to accept it and get on with it.

There’s another screenshot floating about on Twitter showing that it struck someone’s hand in the build up anyway so probably wouldn’t have counted anyway.

Frustrating how we can't perform coming back from international breaks, was the same last season and against Reading this year, needs rectifying.

That said, Derby are good side at home.

Still third, move on, try and get something against Hull on Wednesday.

Was a strange game really. It looked like a matter of time before we'd score in the run-up to HT and when we did get in front, had a 3 on 1 to make it 2-0 basically from the restart but messed it up and when Luton got level, we were rattled for sure.

Lucky to have the goal disallowed (but we haven't had many decisions like that go for us this season) and I guess you could say we were on the right end of some calls, but I must say I'm not convinced it was a foul on Brown (seen them given, mind) and the Ayling tackle was a yellow (did show the replay on the stream) so I don't think those two were howlers.

Definitely a worry to see us look like we might throw away a lead in a game we looked dominant in, to potentially lose it, but on the balance of play, we definitely deserved to nick it. Our finishing and Luton's goalkeeping kept them in it and fair play, they had us on the ropes for a bit and I didn't see us winning it for long periods at 1-1.

I'm happy to see us grinding out wins and feel we have more to come this season, so I'm quietly confident we'll keep going to a top two finish, but who the hell knows. Just wish we had an option on Ben White.

Hull tomorrow night, need a response, a draw wouldn't be terrible as they're not a bad side but in terms of performance levels we need to get back on track.

I'm going to assume Ben Davies is missing after going off, i'd also put Barky up front and give Potts or Bodin a start. Thought Hull looked susceptible to pace on the break against Boro.

Blackburn away, would be great to get another win as it may be enough to get us into the Top 6 at least temporarily. We're top of the form table at the moment, so hoping we can keep it going as we tend to follow up a loss with more losses!

We'll probably make a couple of changes, as we've been rotating the squad a bit after the internationals.

Looks like we’ve got some instant karmic payback from the weekend with our equaliser tonight! Seems Collins might have been offside in the keepers eyeline, although only photo proof I’ve seen the ball is already in the net! Protests went on a while though.

Done quite well but gave away our usual goal through calamity defending. Have largely wasted a lot of chances, hope it doesn’t bite us.
