There is a bump in one of the goal mouths for drainage purposes. It's probably an alien concept for a Mansfield fan, but that's there to aid us in not postponing matches.
The slope in the goal mouths at Blundell Park is historic, it goes back 100 plus years, like the slope at Lord's, it would probably need a special planning consent to remove it.

None of them pictures show the suspect side - anyway it’s definitely not up to our standard so that’s another win for Mansfield. YEAR OF THE STAG.

I never noticed it’s sinking either!

Seriously though DF and Bish mentioned the pitch.
That's because we actually used it regularly! Can't remember Field Mill's ground staff ever winning multiple awards either.

We have actually had the same amount of competitive fixtures at home, you lot were probably just worried about our Barcelona version of total football.

Can’t remember since I’ve been going our games ever being called off for a shit/saturated pitch. The slopes and bumps in the pitch are unfortunate but they’ve been there since forever and every other team has to play on it!

Nice of WH_Stag to show up, I know how much he hates us for some reason.

I am impressed how it always seems to be about 5c when we go to Grimsby, seemed that even when we went in August some years ago.

Good weather to hide in a pub and drink beer

Basic geography, coastal areas are cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter than inland.

As said I also cannot remember when the last time we had a game called off because of the pitch, an alien concept to stags fans.

I'm aware of basic geography :cool1: just still always appears to be 5c even in August, when it shouldn't be
