We're completely replacing the old roof on our oldest remaining stand (The East Stand) the scaffolding is slowly going up and it will be completed in time for next season.

Also the stand will apparently be cleaned up and newer facilities built into the toilets and food selling outlets.

Sat in there for the first time in 15 years in our one league which had fans this season and not alot if anything had changed in seemed down the years, so very much needed.

Ours are being revealed in the summer apparently which makes me wonder if the Lorne Street has been quietly finished!

We should all be able to go to our home grounds to see what improvements have been made and its tragic that we can't until we have all been double dosed, so with that in mind i sent an e-mail to boris suggesting we should train all amazon delivery drivers to administer the vaccine, the whole country would be jabbed by saturday!! thursday if you've got prime.

We got allowed in during the away shirt release day to have a wander around last summer, got to see some of the improvements by then (notably a finished looking stadium with the Lorne Street seats now complete)

We don't need to improve a thing ;) If old school grounds aren't your thing, then Blundell Park isn't the place for you.

It goes without saying that mansfield’s bishop st stand down the side of the pitch is the best in the league

I like to think of our Lorne Street stand as a majestic Cathedral... when I say that I mean in terms of it taking nearly as long as the Sagrida Familia to build it!

We might be getting a new scoreboard. Our CEO is very excited about it. More so than our league position

I thought the one you had on that portable trailer in the away end was quite smart.

I remember the first scoreboard we had in our current ground, got it on the cheap from Gloucester Rugby club...it never worked properly and used to moan constantly during and after games!

Valley Parade now has a new tunnel. Seats have been replaced - old ones sold for a tenner. Hendrie and McCall suites have been revamped....oh and new dugouts.

Amazing what a bit of paint can do.

I was a bit worried after the first two pics that bradford had just got a great deal on some grey paint and some flatscreen TVs.

im not on annual leave but i'm 2 hours into a new working week and im sick to death of spreadsheets already. if anyone else has any pictures please post, i'll take actual paint drying at this point.

The suites certainly look a lot better now than the last time I was in there for my speed awareness course.

We’re in the process of taking up the 3G pitch. The turf itself is already up, and the stuff underneath is in the coming up. There is a livestream available at
albeit currently down.

A new small seated stand for away supporters will be going up before the start of the season. Whilst not a temporary structure it will be one of those easy assemble stands you see at a few non-league clubs.

New turnstiles will be installed in the coming weeks and the floodlights are also in the process of being upgraded.

We’ve built a whole new away end for when we eventually return here.

Im guessing you’re going to have to ground share at the start of the season? Any idea where you’ll go?

Due to when we were able to start the work on the pitch we’re expecting, hoping and planning to avoid a groundshare (although I believe we’re requesting that our first game is away from home).

That’s great news fair play. Have been to your ground once before and it was brilliant so looking forward to going back there!

Sounds good. What sort of away allocation do Sutton usually give (assuming away fans will be allowed at games next season)?

We were able to allocate 1500+ to Orient on both their visits, although for next season I would be surprised if we were able to allocate more than a 1000.

Brilliant is not a word I’ve heard associated with Gander Green Lane too often! But I’m looking forward to playing Tranmere again.

We've gone from Peterborough 2020/21 to Lincoln 2002/03 but let's hope we're more Lincoln 2006/07 by the time we have our first game on it!

Should have been the pitch work and doubling the size of the Stacey West Stand but with the season finishing as late as it did, the latter couldn't happen.
