We are continuing to turn our stadium and its surroundings into an art gallery with giant murals and hopefully by november will have the best fanzone in the country.
Well we will be up on Aug 21st if allowed to check it out, i hope they sell a good real ale in there.

Not open until late october at the earliest unfortunately, needs to be built. Sutton United probably first but their kit is similar to yours. It will have its own micro brewery to produce beers made by German Kraft Beer and no doubt all the others sold in the tent.
Its very posh but not on matchdays with around 1200 of us lot in there i suspect.

We signed a sponsorship/supply deal with BrewDog, so should at least be serving some decent craft beers at TNL.

I got magnificently drunk on Brewdog one day. They make a tangerine flavoured one that tastes like weak Tango and makes your legs uncooperative.

I'm not a beer drinker but the effects on me from Tango are fairly similar...the amount of sugar in fizzy pop sends me hyper!

BrewDog makes you languid and your speech slightly incomprehensible. Nothing wrong with avoiding the evil lure of Mr Booze though. Haven't touched a drop since a week ago sunday. Abstinence makes the heart grow fonder.

Quite like their Punk IPA, plus Elvis Juice is nice.

Tried their Ten Ton Truck as well, pretty strong stuff that was.

League 2 is going craft-beer mad (admittedly well after the rest of the world), we've signed a deal with a local brewery as well.

Anyone else brought in these caterers (they seem to be national rather than local) who specialise in providing bowls of pasta at football matches?

Also, scotch pies are back on the menu, and bloody nice they are too.

Same, mainly Bud, Heineken or Fosters for me. Probably why some of the strong craft stuff hits harder.

You lost me with Fosters. Try Polish lager. Its brutal in a pleasant way but very lively.

Was it Alty (is he still around?) that was a big craft beer fan?

Tried Tyskie last night. Was drunk.

Same! Although I think it was that bottle of white I ordered via Uber Eats at 1am this morning that wrote me off.

Most embarrassing brand on earth, their beer's shite, they treat their staff like shit and their bars add to the growing weight of gentrification most places they pop up. They're fucking scum.

Yeah saw the stuff about shit treatment of staff, but I honestly don’t know what gentrification means?

Apart from using the word gentrification instead of chavification you could easily be commenting on most Wetherspoons.

Customers who stick their little finger in the air when drinking and talk about boring stuff.

That would have helped. Decent one i hope.

My own stupid fault, booking annual leave with sod all to do.

I’m a sucker for Barefoot Chardonnay; not a premium white in any stretch, but well worth the £7 Tesco charge. Perhaps not worth the £11.50 Uber charged me 10 hours ago, mind. :D

Haha no one does that finger thing where I drink, plenty of boring bastards though.

Poshest place I usually go is ‘Spoons though.

My mate likes their Merlot. He only drinks it when cooking but that includes putting stuff in a slow cooker and waiting for it to be ready. Clever way of getting drunk while allegedly doing something.

If anybody sticks their little finger out when they are drinking in Merseyside they are dragged outside and burned at the stake for being a witch.

If anyone wants to dig down (literally) into the finer details of what's under a football pitch and the sort of skill and expertise needed to be a league groundsman then we have you covered.

My expectations were low but like our pitch most of last season it's not as dry as you'd think.

For some reason embedding has been disabled for this video. I'm trying to just post a simple link but even when I specifically select 'link', the forum takes the initiative and tries to embed it. The only thing that works is if make it so it isn't even a link... so you'll have to really have to want to watch this video to be bothered copying and pasting it into your address bar yourself.
