Simply from how I experience reality. If what you believe can't be happily married to what you actually experience in the physical world, then there's clearly a fault in the formula.

People who say that they only ever believe in what is scientifically proven are really not seeing the bigger picture of things. All existence itself is weird, miraculous and mystical and we know that it's real and yet it can't be scientifically explained and it never will be because it's not possible to explain something like that with our laws of science. We must not rule stuff like this out and we have got to understand that there is a greater force of intelligence than us at work and that we are not capable enough of understanding it.

It's like asking how God can be an uncreated creator because we believe that everything must have a cause, but that does not make sense either because then you'd have to have an infinite set of causes with no beginning.

So yeah it's a real mind fuck.

What do you know about my beliefs, geeza? Islam isn't the only lense through which I view the world. There's knowledge all over the planet, interpreted by all different kinds of culture. They're all trying to communicate the same kind of messages, just the emphasis or focus of the message tends to vary depending on the people and society. Muhammad(pbuh) was the final prophet, not the only. It's puzzling it all together - see what fits where and how it can be made relevant today.
