Footpad was disappointing but thankfully Mendip Express placed to make it a profitable L15.

Nothing today I can back with any confidence other than the two Dave mentions above. Got £20 in free bets with SkyBet so might just use that to try and nick 30 quid.

Awful day! Limini just never got going at all, didn't look bothered. Was up against better opposition than when it won at Cheltenham but it looked like a different horse today. Really awful.

As for Vautour, something strange about Ruby Walsh falling when riding massive favourites. Even more strange when you factor in the horse is essentially owned by the owner of BetBright.

I've had a decent day today. I haven't managed to get on here because I'm away with the fam. I had a couple of place money at Aintree, which just about balanced my day, but then I had a play on a couple of late races at Wolves studying the opening prices, drifts and form and saw a couple I didn't agree with the bookies on. Won a 7/2 and an 11/1 which won me about £150 to put a much better shine on the day. Aintree was a bit of a minefield. Can't see how anyone picked Rule The World. He's never won over hurdles, then turns up at the National and smashes it? Because it was so boggy it kinda ruined the race, and all the Irish stayers come to the fore. I was on Last Samuri, Saint Are and Kruzhlinin.

Backed 5 horses on Saturday in the National, highest I had finished 5th with Goonyella My original favourite O'Faiolin's Boy pulled out which I was gutted about, fancied him for a few day so that threw a spanner in.

Had a rubbish 3 days really. Finished £25 down, all summed up by Bishops Road in the Topham who I stuck a fiver on only for him to fall at the first

Great horse, no doubt but maybe not quite the machine we first thought.
