It's nearly Christmas, and I'm bored.

Whether it be now or your family home when you were young, how close do/did you live to your team's stadium?

I relocated to Manchester when I was 18 for Uni and have stayed there ever since but prior to that I grew up (according to Google Maps anyway) 9.8 miles from St. James'.

Anyone grow up looking at your stadium out of your bedroom window or did anyone grow up miles away and not see it close up until they were much older?

I grew up a one mile walk away from Layer Road (well, 0.4 miles from Layer Road, one mile from the ground), but that became 5.2 miles when we moved to the WHCS. Now I live 4.8 miles from the WHCS.

I live 52 miles away. Due to my Dad's work growing up we moved around a few times. At one point we lived across the road from our arch-rivals 'B*ackburn Rovers' which made life interesting going to school surrounded by their fans. Also lived overlooking Boundary Park in Oldham. So peer pressure could have led to me ending up supporting one of them two. Thankfully, we settled in Accrington when I was about 8; which is pretty much 50/50 split in fans between Burnley and B*ackburn and my family have always been Clarets.
Nearest I have lived to Turf Moor was about 2 miles, for about four years in my late teens/early twenties.

The closest I've lived to Portman Road is 28 miles, now about 45. Currently about a 20 minute walk from Carrow Road though...

Currently 7.7 miles from The Valley, probably about the furthest away I've lived.

About 3,300 miles or so.

Have you ever come across the pond specifically to watch a game and it be called off at kick off time Etienne?!
Had that once when I lived Stateside. Flew over for a game at Oldham. Arrived at Manchester Airport about 7am. Only called it off at 2.50pm just as we got to the ground.

I'm roughly 8 miles from The Mem, growing up on the wrong side of the river means i've always lived closer to Ashton Gate unfortunately.

I haven't, thankfully enough - usually when I visit it's summer/autumn so weather isn't too terrible. Furthest I've ever travelled for a postponed game (while living in the UK obviously) was Wigan.

7 miles to Kingsmeadow and half that to Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium where our new ground will be.

I used to live a mile from from the old ground at the other end of Plough Lane.

Grew up 200 miles from Liverpool with no affiliation to the city. I support them because my Irish cousins said they'd beat the shit out of me if I supported local club Arsenal when I was 6.

HATE ME PROPER FOOTBALL FANS.
