Origi is dogshit. Liverpool have a decent young team, they will be challenging for the top 4. If they get in I don't think it'll be at United's expense though. City need a big summer, don't be fooled by their recent run against crap teams. Whenever they've faced a good team in good form they've been turned over. Liverpool should be targetting them.

I see this was before they thrashed Chelsea.

I said as much in my post. Liverpool have moved early and purchased a number of players already though and none of the signings are particularly worrying.

Liverpool have gotten rid of Sterling and United have almost sold De Gea, which will get them a lot of cash, even if Romero isn't as good.
