It's probably not a new discussion, but I can't see that it's been discussed in a while. If I'm wrong do the old merge thing.

I get through a bottle of Archers each day.

Be honest. How much do you drink a week?

Usually have a pint or a can every night, have a rest for a couple of days then have 6-7 in a day, day off (hangovers, man), then rinse and repeat.

A bit of a lightweight here. I tend to do almost all my drinking around football these days, and try to keep drinking outside of that / during the week to a minimum. Although I'd be lying if I said I never had a beer with my dinner on a Friday evening for example.

When it comes to Saturday, I can get through 5-7 pints spread out over the course of the day/night. Occasionally Sky fucks my routine up.

I cannot hack drinking two days/nights running, gone are the days I could go out Friday night on the beers, get up and go to football still on the beers, and then go back out again Saturday night. That'd kill me. For the last few years the hangovers have gotten too much. And when I have had a heavy day, it pushes me into complete sobriety for a week or two!

I'm normally the driver if we go to the pub, so my drinking is confined to matchdays and the occasional weekend evening. Matchday I'll have 4 or 5 pints and that'll do me, never understood the point of getting so bollocksed pre-game that you can't stand up. Of an evening out I don't tend to drink lager, but I might have a few ales before going on to spirits. I'm not a 2am drinker any more though, I prefer waking up and being able to function.

I have a few dry nights a week because of shift work, but the nights I'm off I think 3-5 bottles and maybe a whiskey or two. Too much no doubt! Making the most of it before my baby comes, as I doubt I'll be drinking too much then

A guid dram
Three to five drams a week these days. Would maybe have a couple more so I could buy more bottles of whisky, but I'm dieting just now so limiting my intake.

Hello, my name is Steven.

I've not had a dry day in over two years now.

Thank you for listening.

You guys drink a lot, too much I'd say. In the past month I can only recall drinking a bottle of champagne & a bottle of red.

I probably average 3-4 pints a day if you work it out over a period of say, a month. Occassionally go 3-4 days without, typically after suffering from a particularly heavy session the day before.

Used to go out and get absolutely plastered on a Friday night, but wouldn't touch booze at any other point during the week. Now I do roughly one night out a month and I'm usually home for no later than 2, got totally fed up of the hangovers and not being able to do anything the next day. I'm only 20 so I dread to think what I'll be like when I get older.

I was like that at 20, but I'm happy enough just with a few drams a week now as the appeal of getting pished has wore off me now and I stop whenever I feel tipsy these days. Yes I'm turning into a boring bastard! :D
