First Division City were a great side, used to love watching them on the TV and then I got to watch Shaun Goater destroy us at Gresty Road which was a strange privilege.

Leaving Maine Road ruined the soul of that club. I lived five minutes walk from it up until last year and save for Blue Moon Drive you couldn't tell a football team once played there. All the iconic brother kits, notoriously shit signings, Shaun Goater's goals, league games with local North West teams and the "typical City" days where everyone wanted them to do well (unless you were of the red persuasion in Manchester or a supporter of a local lower league side) have gone and in has come a bland stadium, the cringey "I am a Cityzen" shite and no connection with the local community they used to represent exceedingly better than those wankers the other side of the city.

I don't mind Chelsea, they were surprisingly good-natured after we beat them. Although one guy refused to sell us some chips in his chip shop outside after the game because we were northern. Fuck knows whether it was because of the game or because he hated northerners.

Barely any of you seem to know what 'irrational' means.

Add me to the list of people who are tired of Wimbledon though.

Both Bristol Clubs.

Bristol City, just for sour grapes since we lost the JPT Final and lost 8-2 to them in the same season. Also one time we were late to an away game there and to park anywhere close to the ground cost £10!

Don't like Bristol Rovers much better though since we were also running late to get to the game thanks to awful motorway traffic entering Bristol. When we got there we couldn't park anywhere close to the ground so I had to jog down to the closest entrance only for them to tell me I can't enter this way, so I had to jog all the way round the side streets to get the other side of the ground only to find out i'd missed our goal. I was exhausted, completely drenched in sweat and then they went and scored an unjust penalty (the foul was outside of the box) about 10 minutes later.

Also any team who play at a "retail park stadium" sadly this is most modern stadia, not necessarily a hatred of the teams but it's making away days far shitter give me a rust bucket any day of the week. Or at least a modernised traditional ground.

For me it has to be Bolton, the reason John (the twat) Mcginley, hero to thousands of Bolton fans, but if he hadn't played for them/ they would have hated him to..............irrational hatred of one person, makes it justified

Dislike Hull, just seem like a shit club punching above its weight. Amber and black is a shit to have as shirt colours... Also dislike the name 'Hull' in general. Very justified.

Also dislike Watford/Bournemouth/Crystal Palace, as they all gained promotion to the Premier League on the back of having 20+ penalties each. Especially Bournemouth, the season they went up they were getting dodgy penalty decisons go their way every other weekend, and then Eddie Howe would have the cheek to go to the media and say his side were hard done by... But hey everyone was saying what a great fairytale it was, what a load of shit.

Also Morcambe/Yeovil/Rochdale can fuck off as they are one of those clubs that will always cock my bet up each weekend.

Despised John McGinley, he scored twice against us to knock us out of thr playoffs in the 90's, and also punched one of our players, David Kelly.

Everyone who builds a new ground, and CBA to put a fourth side in.

QUOTE="Camborne Gills, post: 604107, member: 849"]Corrected for you, Eric[/QUOTE]

But especially people who think that temporary scaffolding actually constitutes a stand.

This wins the irrational award for me. Hating a team for being named after the place they are from.

Who rattled your fucking cage? What do you know about "my level?"

Go back a few posts and you'll see that you're the one who introduced the, oh so original, four sides to a stadium "joke"

FWIW, I couldn't really give a toss about Gillingham as a place or a football team, they're both totally irrelevant in the general scheme of things. But if you try to take the piss, I will reply.

Port Vale have to be up there for me, I know every club has their neanderthals but talk about the place (Yes, I know its Burslem) that time forgot - fucking chromosomes forgot that place, its just full of complete and utter reprobates with nothing better to do than launch a foul mouthed tirade through the sporadically toothed mouth, vented at anyone who can hear them.... some right wrong'uns.

I think MK Dons has to get, irrespective of how the came to be, I just find their fans to all have that southerner trait, where they think everyone wants to hear what they have to go say, have no volume control or humility. Arseholes.

Historically, watching Salop, its in your blood to hate the ilk of Wrexham and Chester, but unless you're in your early twenties at least, few would remember us playing them, as they have gone by the way-side.

The rivalry we developed between 2008-12 was very much as involved with Shrewsbury's Neanderthals as much as ours! Hence we always ended up with a 1PM kick off, thankfully the dark side of it has since died off and can enjoy trips to either ground when we meet but come on... Shrewsbury's supporters was as bad! Recall a 1-0 win at Shrewsbury a few seasons back when the police kept us back and bricks/rocks were flying over the fence at us.

It actually started when Marc Richards scored a last minute winner after sliding in on our keeper didnt it, since then its always been a bit feisty - The whole rock throwing thing is one of those myths where nobody really knows who was to blame, - I was at that game, and I saw the Vale lot throwing stuff as some woman got clobbered by a rock, six of one and all that.
