Well then, I hate Liverpool as they made it fashionable for men to get perms in the 1980's

Spurs. I don't know why I dislike them because I feel like I should like them really. I want to like them. But I just never have been able to. I'd put it down to 'arry Redknapp (who is thoroughly despicable) but I think I disliked them before he rocked up. I think it's probably something to do with their fans but I'm not entirely sure what.

I'd also like to add any incarnation of Chipping Norton Town (currently in the Witney & District Lg) due to the internal politics and backstabbing from the then the Club/Social Club Committee (rather than actually discuss things directly with us) that went on when I was involved in the running of the team there. I genuinely laughed when they had to leave the Hellenic Lg and ended up back at the level we were at.

It is irrational as it was quite a long time ago.

To our gas brethren, I'm a bit pissed off that you haven't mentioned the bigger club down the road, the one with the sparkling stadium and 20K crowds. Maybe we're just a echelon too high for you now?
I was pulled up tonight by one of you bastards, drinking in Dandos in gas country slagging me off for showing respect.
I despise your club, with a passion only reserved for people I really do not like. The gas fans on here are sound, it's not their fault that they follow the really crap club in our beautiful city.
I respect what the gas have done in the last few years, hated it but respect it but the majority of gas fans are knuckle dragging f**kwits tbh, full of jealousy and delusion.
Sound lads on here but I can't f**king stand Bristol f**king r***rs! Swinedon can f**k off too but they're the aftebirth that nobody really gives a shit about TBH!
No offence fellas but you would expect nothing less!
OTIB.
To those outside our fair city, this is the crap we have to put up with, c**ts!

Here's another one, please go to 2 minutes, it's a killer!
'Bristol city and Ashton Gate will be our training ground', we're the biggest (no), richest (no) etc etc'? F**king braindead f**kwit! The son's okay but the father is why we f**king hate your club!
Even his son had to wear a seatbelt in their driveway as his dad is a braindead knob FFS!
We're not great but....?
You ok mate?

Good thanks mate, just ran into some of your neanderthal element at the wrong time. Bugger me they were thick! Big bastards but so thick they probably need to be told to breathe in after breathing out!
I hope you're well Aber? I was actually working up your way today, Neville Hall.

It's universal, mate. The hatred of Chipping Norton Town is even seen in graffiti in the suburbs of Jaiyuguan in western China. Sub-human scum.

Seriously cannot stand those feckers. Hopefully they can rot for many more years in that pub league they are now marooned in.

Their average was 3477, with a high of 5783, which must make it pretty darn close, remembering they are still 3 divisions below the both of us.

Edit;

In fact your average home attendance was about 400 higher, though I think when you factor in net home fans, yours is comfortably lower (less than 3k)

Any club with the suffix "Town". You're just emphasising the fact that no one thought you were worth city status so you've stayed second rate. Fuck me even shit holes like Bradford and Coventry are cities.

I'm not generally an irrational person so don't hate many clubs for irrational reasons. I can think of plenty of good reasons for hating Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Spurs, Liverpool, West Ham, MK Dons, Portsmouth, Wycombe, Millwall, Stevenage, Crawley, Fleetwood, Forest Green Rovers, Histon and any team with Evans in charge. I've probably missed some more to be fair.

I fucking despise West Brom for some unknown reason, also have weird dislikes for Wimbledon, Portsmouth, Lincoln, Arsenal, Leicester, West Ham, Gillingham, Hull, Derby, Burton, Rotherham, Barnsley, Ipswich, Norwich, Fleetwood, Bradford, Rochdale, Bury, Peterborough, MK, Luton, Wycombe, Stevenage and Newport.

I think I'm a naturally hateful person.

Is there anyone you can tolerate? I've never known anyone to hate Peterborough, we're just a beige and dull football club.

To be fair I have sympathy for Plymouth fans as they are so far away from most teams, I think I'd hate a lot of them as well. But what have Lincoln done wrong I'd consider them a neutrals favorite after their cup run this season?

Never hated teams but in the 80's
Always had a dislike for Liverpool because they seemed to win everything.
Also had a dislike for Coventry because every season they looked like being relegated then would finish 4th from bottom and stay up. In the 80's had a like towards Man Utd because they were underperforming every year.

Generally have a dislike for over performing clubs.
Teams like Palace, Watford in the 80's and currently Bournemouth, Reading.

and have a like for underperforming clubs.
always impressed that Portsmouth were crap but still got good support, true supporters.
Liked Plymouth due to impressive away support (considering the high mileage).
Also developed a like towards Bradford City, hardly any success anywhere but get great numbers suport wise.

More recently I've now got sympathy for clubs like Luton and Coventry.
Supporting a club in the worse period of their history really sorts out the men from the boys.
So have full respect for anyone that regularly watches Luton or Cov next season.

That's what neutrals don't understand about us when they say you should get big crowds due to population, City size etc.

Since the war we have predominately been in the bottom 2 tiers of English football, including 13 years currently mainly due to mismanagement not lack of interest(I believe we got 21,000 during an FA cup tie against a non league team in the 70s, showing how success starved we are). Can even big clubs such as the Sheffield ones, Leeds etc, say they would have big numbers if the majority of their modern history had been in the bottom 2 tiers? Doubtful. Success builds fan bases and interest in a club, if we'd been in the top 2 tiers for the past 40-50 years we'd be able to attract 30,000+(we'd need a bigger stadium first obviously).

Don't make Northampton fans bitter about you - they'll be obsessed years after you've ourgrown them and left them in the shadows.
