Imagine if one of MK or Charlton had got their act together in a similar fashion to us and Rotherham, this relegation battle would be insane

If Gomez hadn't scored that 93rd minute free kick for us against MK we would genuinely be where they are. Since the international break none of our players seem to care about the club or even want to make an effort.

Still going to Rotherham away though, watching us surrender to a tinpot club, yet again.
Might see SERNWA starting a fight after getting pissed off half a pint of lager

No call for that pal, a draw would be enough for us assuming we get nothing at Wolves and MK win 3 on the trot.
But I hope we hammer you now.
You can meet up with SERNWA outside the Paramedic van on the NW corner, I'll sell tickets.

Shouldn't you be sucking a chicken off somewhere?

How depressed will you be at the end of the season when you've finished below 'tinpot' Rotherham and you're still stuck with the toothless jock c*** Lambert?

Dark days in the darkest of county's.

We'll finish above you, and I'd rather have Lambert than the intolerable Warnock.

You've had serious investment the day you were relegated from the Prem, and it has gotten you absolutely nowhere.

We spent a fair bit in summer 2012, but other than that almost nothing has been spent on transfers; and we've had almost £20m come in from outgoing players.

Our next two games are against Wolves and you lot.

Yours are against Bristol City and us.

By the last game of the seasom, you'll not be mathematically able to overtake us.

We're above you on goal difference now...

Unless you mean that you will win your next two and we will lose ours. In which case then    :brill:

going to Villa destroyed him.

Lambert @ Norwich > Warnock @ any club > Lambert @ Blackburn/Villa
Yeah, that. But which is the real Lambert? Is he going to ever recreate what he did at Norwich?

You can, as fun as the last 2 games have been not winning them has put us in an impossible position
And we don't want it to be Brentford who relegate us about as much as they want to be the ones that do it, should be interesting

As if you need any more examples of how poorly this club is being run, Igor Vetekole who was signed for €3m on a 5 year contract 2 years ago has a relegation release clause in his contract. He can now leave for free

I want to cry.

That is crazy, for what it's worth i'd have him at Wolves in a heartbeat.

He played very well against us a couple of years ago, always looked like there was a good player there, I'd take him here.

Had his problems with injuries.

I should imagine there will be a large number of clubs wanting to talk to him.

I'm just staggered we have a €3m striker on our books with 3 years left on his contract and he can leave for nothing.

That's dreadful administration by CAFC. By all means have a clause where he's allowed to leave upon relegation but not for £0.
Very poor on their part.
Don't know a lot about the lad but if he's free, we are after strikers for next season so we'll be looking I should think.

For what it's worth we spent €3m on Bjorn Sigurdarson, and he's out of contract in the summer... you can have him if you want with your other Icelandic player.

Good luck getting him to score though, he hasn't managed that herculean task in over 2 and a half years.

What's happening with Wolves Mark? Any sign of a takeover or are you gonna tread water for another season? It's a pity as Wolves are a fine football club.

The short term future doesn't look too good for us unfortunately mate. We're still up for sale but look no closer to finding a buyer since the day we were put up for sale 8 months ago. Whilst we are up for sale, our CEO and owner have both come out and said not to expect any real investment over the summer. If we strike lucky with a player like Afobe again, we will sell them on for a large profit, and only reinvest about 1/4 of the total fee back into the squad (such as the Mason replacement for Afobe).

I think we'll turn to Birmingham's approach, trying to sign cheap freebies or utilising the academy. That isn't necessarily a bad thing mind, I'd much prefer to see our academy kids given a chance over the overpaid dross that turns up every week at the moment.

In short, we're in limbo until we find a buyer, and considering we are surrounded by Villa, Birmingham and West Brom (who are all up for sale too) we could be waiting for a long time.
