Billericay are moneyed now. So expect to see another Whitehawk/Margate scenario.

The Billericay owner is literally playing real life football manager.

Finchley for the play-offs? Currently in fifth, in great form and their run-in looks pretty kind. That final day fixture against Dulwich could be pivotal although if Wingate & Finchley carry on their form, they could be pushing for a high enough placing to get a home draw in the play-off semi-finals.

I'm rather disappointed in you here Paddy. As a fully paid-up member of the SW London non league community you should have the lil'ol'Urchins right at the top of any list of failed moneyed ego-fuelled Billy Big Bootz adventures... or is it just Sutton who can't let it go? (Clearly I'm merely laying bait for any SU fan who happens to be passing!)

But anyway - yes, absolutely... he seems like a right ol' chancer to me. Very Essex.

Billericay sack manager and chairman puts himself in charge whilst signing ex premier league players. It's the real life football manager quite literally

Yeah. London Road got me once. Was 7:01am, lane closes to general use at 7:00am.

Anyway, to avoid any risk of this becoming the Isthmian Traffic Violation thread, K's are hosting Harrow today. Congratulations in advance on 3 points well won Harrow.

From our bulletins: "I've got 3 meetings with managers who've taken sides into the professional ranks" @BTFC Glenn Tamplin on manager hunt.

Martin Allen, John Still and Terry Brown are the obvious names.

Well we're out of the FA Trophy at last, but what aside it's been. I fancy us to make the play-offs but we do have to play H&W and Billericay twice.

That final match at Finchley could be the decider, although I actually fancy Wingate to overtake Tonbridge and possibly Needham Market.

I hope Lowestoft also appreciated the points donation they received this weekend. Just want Williams to fuck the fuck off now. He's going to get us relegated at this rate.

Personally very much enjoying seeing Tamplin think he's a half decent manager before inevitably appointing himself on a full time basis at the end of the season.

*Sad for Billericay, mind, who I imagine will live to regret this foray with Tamplin at some point in the future.

The League Cup final will be between Tonbridge Angels and Billericay after the Angels’ 3-1 defeat of a very good Dulwich side at Longmead last night. Final to be played at Carshalton Athletic on 12th April....

Kingstonian chairman Mark Anderson has pledged to transport the club’s fans to their new Leatherhead home next season free of charge.

The Ks have announced they will be leaving Kingsmeadow next season following AFC Wimbledon’s return to Plough Lane.

The Dons have confirmed a deal is in place to sell the stadium to Premier League Chelsea.

That means Kingstonian have had to make alternative plans and after being gifted a large sum by Wimbledon, they will share with The Tanners before building their own ground nearby.

The news that they will play ten miles away has not been well received by the chairman has come up with a way to help.

The owner of Anderson Coaches has tonight revealed he is to put on free travel through his company for home games.

He said: “What is clear to us is that a significant factor deciding the location of the ground share for next season from those we spoke to was both the location and the logistics of getting to and from that location.

“Further to that, we are aware that for those on low incomes, students and fans past retirement age, the cost of getting to and from Leatherhead could be prohibitive to them getting their bi-weekly fix of K’s action. This is not something we ever wanted to sign up to and most importantly we need to look after that part of our fan base.

“Also, as a club with a strong awareness of our social responsibility to the community in which we operate, we were also aware of the increase to our carbon footprint due to the extra car journeys and distance our fans would be travelling to home matches, potentially adding to emission levels and congestion.”

Fuck sake...

"That means Kingstonian have had to make alternative plans and after being gifted a large sum which includes compensation for kicking Kingstonian off of their 25 year tenancy agreement by Wimbledon, they will share with The Tanners before building their own ground nearby"

Hate it when this important part is missing.

But yes the free coach is a good idea as long as it isn't being financed by the Womble dirty money. The fact that it's pick up point in Kingston is really convenient (for me at least) is also a plus point. Think I'd still rather drive to most games though as I can go when I want & return when I want... but on the odd Saturday I find myself able to go to a game instead of work I will probably jump on board the K's express.

A bloody coach is no good if we get relegated (how many people are going to trek to Leatherhead for R1S football)? We're now just three points off having taken two points from our last nine fixtures. How long before the board grow a pair and finally get rid of the clown masquerading as a manager? The situation we find ourselves in in the league is extraordinarily concerning in light of our off-field worries.

Horsham FC have just had their ground application approved by the District Council. Seems their time as wandering nomads will be over in a couple of years. Delighted for them.

Decent sized town is Horsham. Think they could be a club on the up when they build?

I remember Horsham used to have a cracking little ground right next door to where they play now......had a lovely big old terrace as well. Demolished for a supermarket if i remember right or something like that.

Their supporters were a great bunch. (a bit weird though) I remember a load of them showing up at our ground dressed as monks and dancing around with lard on there heads.

There will certainly be a feel-good factor about the place, and the new ground will be a community asset which will generate extra income. There's no reason why it shouldn't be a catalyst for success.
