With the number of televised games the Carlisle v Barrow game surely has to be one of them?
Yep, heard Sky are sticking an extra fiver on everyone's subscription in August because they are just that confident that the nation is desperate to witness this epic spectacle.

Gutted Calisle away is a Tuesday night on December as its usually one of my favourite aways. Likewise Wimbledon as that was good one last season. Barrow away 1st day isnt too bad I suppose, much better than going there in the middle of winter anyway. Cheltenham away on boxing day, hopefully that's a good omen, my favourite season in which we got promoted in 03 we played Cheltenham away on boxing day. Also looks a tasty last 2 games away at Tranmere and home to Walsall if there is anything to play for at the end.

This new sky deal is going to be a killer though for making plans, can see alot of games being moved to Friday nights or early Saturday.

Carlisle at home followed by Morecambe and Fleetwood away to kick off. Two relegated sides and a basketcase, literally no way of knowing how that start is going to go. Season ends with a trip to Vale Park to celebrate a mutual promotion.

As mentioned earlier we have reciprocal midweek fixtures with Grimsby H and A, but also Newport. Bromley away is annoyingly on a December Tuesday, with the return on New Years Day.

I've heard a runour that the Bromley away allocation will be 495 so if that's true it'll be a mad scramble for tickets if you're a Gills fan regardless of when it is.

Gillingham away is exactly the type of away game I was expecting to open with. Very tough and as I expect a slow start and a bit of a hangover from last season early doors is the best time to play us. That goes for Barrow as well, would have preferred them at home later on as I think we'll be poor for the first few weeks.

Carlisle away on Sept 28th followed by Gills away on the Tuesday  thankfully I can make the Carlisle game. Pretty tricky opening fixtures for us, will be setting the pace for away followings though.

Delighted to be playing you mate, especially at home. Expect you to bring great support. Not sure what to expect from our lads, Stockley to Vale which was a surprise but hey he was on big money so that should free up a few bob. Hopefully we'll see some signings before long.Have a good season.
Meant to say to you lads, the last time we played you was in the Blue Square Premier League ? It was a Tuesday night and you had brought a full house of away support
Fleetwood were pushing for promotion then, pretty sure we went 1 down and went on to win 2-1
Who scored the winner...a certain Jamie Vardy. Crickey, is that some 14 years ago

Reckon it will be a struggle for a ticket at Fleetwood and Chesterfield . I will probably just do Notts and avoid the hassle + i love the little craft beer place over there at the train station before walking to the ground .
The away allocation at Fleetwood is as near as damn it 1000, you'll all be very welcome. A meeting of 2 towns who were at one time were the biggest fishing ports in the UK

I remember it well, we had an awful start that season but we were on a 20 game unbeaten run going into that and had just caught up to the play offs and we were 1-0 up and looking comfortable and then you were given a ridiculous penalty to equalise that none of your players even appealed for and then Vardy hit a deflected winner in injury time and celebrated by goading our management team.
Then we went to shit again after that game and missed out on the play offs by a mile.

Yeah we were flying, but needed to win that game to be in with any chance of the playoffs. Shame we started so poorly that season as Liam Hearn alone deserved a crack at the playoffs that year.

Dreadful for me. I usually take a week away in September and don't do many away matches so I try to fit in an away match and a pootle round the area. Last year was Newport away with a glorious week in South Wales. This year it's Franchise at home followed by Bradford away. I might do Franchise but I've done Bradford before. A few days in the autumn sun it is. Malta seems nice.

Chesterfield is gonna be tough to get a ticket for. Can't see them getting to general sale.

Given our away allocations are point based there’s absolutely no chance Chesterfield tickets make general sale given the reduced away allocation.

As opposed to Real Madrid away at the San Siro in League One? Have a word mate you only had 2 seasons up there. Maidenhead away first game is the real silent tear fixture

A couple of years ago we had Dover Away as our opening day fixture. FML indeed.

That’s what I did on Boxing Day to watch us get pummelled at your gaff.

The thing with pulling sickies is I end up losing out on 2 days pay as I do a days overtime every week but if you have a day off you get banned from overtime the next week so it becomes very expensive.
