I remember Mourinho went up massively in my estimation when he helped put a stop to the Liverpool title charge.

No, I've got a Bluetooth keyboard.
Aren't you posh? For the record, that makes your post construction look even worse, though I do notice that since critiquing you about such matters, it appears to have improved. So well done you, here have a dancing milk carton.

Stockport County.
People deluding themselves that Mourinho isn't going to come in to United, buy 3-4 and instill a winning mentality that has eroded after Ferguson left.

They'll be in with a shout next year, win the league the year after and then he might* leave in 3-4 years (like every manager these days).

*- he won't. He'll build a legacy. It's the only thing he hasn't done, at the place he's always wanted to be. A born winner, the only man who Ferguson ever feared.

3 years too late this for United.

Imagine being a Liverpool fan these last few days. Arses handed to them in the mickey mouse European wooden spoon cup, watch United win the FA Cup at Wembley in extra time and then hear that Mourinho is taking over.

He should do well but we saw this season that his confidence has taken a massive knock. Well massive for Mourinho anyway. If things start well he'll have his swagger back and get back into the rhythm, if he gets off to a bad start, you never know. Could be a broken man, pissing himself in the dugout, crying into a laundry basket and thinking of bygone days when he was the only manager in the league who could spend a billion quid to aid his vision.

Just thought, his last opponents of this season will be his first of next.

Oh and that dud Van Gaal has won more in 2 years with the worst Manchester United team for a quarter of a century than Liverpool have in the last decade.

Just let that sink in.

You wouldn't take Mourinho over Wenger? Mourinho has won six league titles since Wenger last won one.

when Bristol City won the league, won the paint pot and had the big fa cup run I ****ing hated every minute of it because of the manager.

It happens

Indeed, when he first came on the scene you could see the players buying into it, and were willing to run through brick walls for him. He would defend them through thick and thin, but he has lost that ability to keep all onside and it only lasts a while these days before they start to switch off or go off him altogether. It happened to him at Madrid, and again at Chelsea. He'll get Manoo back competing again for top four undoubtedly, and we'll see how it goes the following year; but we'll see if he himself can adapt when things don't go his way, or will he just resort to being a sickening tiresome boor and bully again.

Go back as far as November and there are reports of lvg being lined up for the chop.

Mourhino being a done deal as early as January, now nobody will know what went on behind the scenes but Mourhino and his agent could of set this up.

Mourhino likes breaking records and Fergie is the one to beat

FA Cup always has, is and always will be twice as important as the league/carling/capital one whatever it's fucking called cup.

Van Gaal one FA Cup in two years, Liverpool one carling cup in ten years. That is surely frightening for any Liverpool supporter?

Wrong, the FA Cup used to be bigger, but tbh all domestic cups are treated with disdain these days anyway so neither of them are more important than the other now.

I agree about Liverpool's cup and league record the last decade now not being great at all; but we have had our moments when we've come close, even this year! Hopefully it should improve when a new squad comes in under a good manager like Klopp.
