He's the coach Liverpool fans wanted Rodgers to be. I'm glad to have him in the league, but I'm envious it isn't at Arsenal.

He's turned Lallana and Firmino from Rodgers' flops to two of the most effective players in the league, despite them playing non-traditional roles. Lallana and Mane allow Coutinho to be most effective. Lallana gives Coutinho more freedom, and Mane provides a direct attacking threat which gives keeps defenses on their heels. And while they've had defensive calamities, Lovren looks the player Rodgers thought he purchased. Matip was good business, too.

Agree with pretty much all of that except saying Firmino was a flop when he came in. He didn't start off that well granted, but the signs were there that he was going to be a good buy. He probably wouldn't have kicked on as much however under Rodgers than he has done under Klopp.

Indeed they do, but the game time he has been getting shows he is pushing for a first team berth consistently. He looks a hell of a talent tbh.
