I personally can't see why Liverpool couldn'y finish 4th unless Tottenham and/or Chelsea realise how to be good again. No one else should be a threat...

Indeed Spurs have a but more of an edge this season and look as if they'll be in the hunt and Chelsea will get going with Mou or some other coach. However I still think Liverpool can challenge to get into the top four and a domestic cup competition as well as comfortably winning the EL (that one for Stevencc ). I hope to Buddha's left tit that he can sort that defense out firstly however.

Are any Liverpool fans a little anxious about the fact Klopp finished last season in 7th? Bearing in mind that was in an easier league with a far better squad with one of the best players in the world, but still finishing a place behind Rodgers who was in a more competitive league with a bobbins squad (and Coutinho)

I'm sure he'll be a success in the long run but with the tools hell have at his disposal it'd be a miracle to get Liverpool back into the Champions League this season. Maybe with Klopp at the helm the January window could be a bit more fruitful than Bogdan and Ings.

It will be interesting to see if Klopp implements his gegenpressing style at Liverpool. I have a hunch he'll be forced to go more possession based what with no winter break and an injury prone squad. His style of play essentially burnt out the Dortmund squad after a couple of years.
