If Jackett is unavailable til the summer, then another 'gang of four' until then may not be the worst idea in the world.

We aren't bad enough to go down.
You had to say it didn't you.
Why?

It will be some achievement though, finishing below the likes of a team that has taken 2 points out of a possible 45, and a team that has scored 12 goals all season.

No, we really aren't that bad. Yes we chuck in some dire performances and concede stupid goals, but there are teams WAY worse than us in this league. We're utterly mid-table this season, and that will be where we end up. Suggesting we're bad enough to go down is ridiculous and over-reactionary, and unfortunately something that the modern football fan is prone to doing.

I hope you're right and we're not revisiting this condescending comment come May.

A few noises from here, that Ian Hendon is to join as a coach alongside Pennock - Not sure how true it is though, could be one of those things that may happen but never does.

Hendon has apparently rejected the offer, and it looks like it'll be Jamie Day joining as a coach instead.

Pennock, Day and Lovell announced on club Twitter. Happy to have Lovell back but this is the cheap option right here.

Odd one, Gillingham tried this route before at the same time we did (Sinnott and Stimpson) and we all know what happened at the end of that season to us both!

Very underwhelmed, but will support the new management team, pleased with lovell most out of the 3 he was vital to our form in 2015 before he was harshly sacked by edinburgh

Two old legends at the helm who actually care about the club makes this already an improvement over Edinburgh. Lovell was key to our upturn in form pre-Edinburgh, so to have him back is excellent. It's only a deal til the summer, so this is a bit of a free hit. If they do well then they'll get a longer deal, if not then we can get someone different in over the summer (when Jackett would be available without having to pay compensation).

I guess I sort of get Pennock, even if I don't think he's the best you could have done. Jamie Day is a bizarre decision though.

He's a good coach, maybe not the best manager (Day that is). Hundreds of examples throughout the leagues.

Vale fans said that when we employed both Martin Foyle and Dean Glover
