When did you order them? I'm a bit worried about the Post Office ballsing up. They managed to lose a load of tickets for our home semi final and getting replacements won't be as easy as it was getting them from the club.

Mine were ordered on Tuesday! So took 4 postal working days to arrive. There are Argyle fans that ordered them last Monday and had them by the Wednesday, most are fairly impressed with the service. Though the booking fee on ticketmaster is daylight robbery.

Improvement every year doesn't necessarily continue into every season. You may well threaten the top seven next season but Plymouth, in my eyes anyway, would be more likely to challenge for promotion.

I think we are a little different in that our budget is consistent although we try to increase it slightly each season as everyone increase theirs.

Other clubs in this division seriously go for it some seasons which is why they don't always carry their form into the next.

If we can keep the heartbeat of this team in Robbo, Charles, Reeves & Taylor then I would fancy us to tackle the playoffs again next season if we are not victorious on Monday.

I feel Monday is a 50/50 game - I think Plymouth have more match winners than we do, however we have a better form and have kept a good number of clean sheets over the last 10 games.

I can confirm that both AFC Wimbledon and Mansfield away are equally pants. :fish:

Looking forward to a decent game on Monday. Not too bothered who disappears from the League for next season. If pressed i would just prefer to keep Plymouth as they always bring a few and help the atmosphere and club coffers :£

Just realised we have 2 NZ Womble fans, always thought we just had one. Oops.
and both live in Christchurch, but as yet haven't got together for a beer. During that football league overseas fan comp a few months back, it came out as being 9 Wombles in NZ.

Are you signed up to Wombles Down Under? A thriving community as far as I can tell.

Good luck Argyle!

This time it's more of a case of supporting the team where I was born (& saw live a few times when I moved back to Devon for a bit) rather then my usual 'support whoever the Wombles are against' method.

Tickets arrive today!!! One less thing to worry about. Will be a cracking day out, for both clubs, fans and players. Wimbledon look close to selling their allocation (hats off to you lot - you should be proud of where you have come from 14 years ago) and we have been given more tickets after our deadline. The atmosphere will be superb no doubt!

You've got your ticket already? I thought you were having to collect it from Ipswich.

My dad took a photo of it for me as he wound me up about it last night and I wasn't really sure what to believe!

The new favorite game for Wombles seems to be counting the available seats left for sale. At last count - we have 157 seats available of which something like 30 are next to each another seat.

Late Uncle supported Plymouth Argyle and went to most games so I'll be rooting for them, despite having a soft spot for Wimbledon considering their recent history.

Indeed, by my very rough calculations, after the FL take their share I think each club stands to make about 250k at the moment.

As i'm bored at work, the attendance is looking around 55,000 based on ticket sales. We can say an average of approx £28 per ticket once you've included concessions etc and considering all the different category prices. The football league take their 50% of the sales, leaving the other 50% split equally between the 2 teams. This actually comes to £385,000 per team. Plus merchandise sales, I'd say both clubs are possibly on for a bigger payday than anticipated at close to 400k?

Not forgetting the money that Ticketmaster makes too; on our match alone, saying we get a crowd of 55k, at £2.40p per tickets they'll take in £132000. Should cover their costs!
