Well we haven't come out any better than the first half, Walsall are now the better team and have a deserved second.

Curled free kick from the edge of the D. Hutchinson. Looks a very good player.
Rue all the missed chances away from home again

Goodness knows what our defence was doing for Colchester's goals.

2-2 at halftime and we're now winning 4-2.

Three one down to a goal that was a mile offside. One of those games it seems.

Completely dominated a very poor Salford. First time we've put in a good performance all the way through both halves in a long time. Salford haven't even had a 5-10 minute spell when they've been on top really. 3rd goal was class, ridiculous ball from Gav and and an absolute belter of a finish from Rose.

Colchester have had a player sent off. Couldn't see what for.

Couldn't finish our dinner away from home. Mullin should of had atleast 3. Probably 4, then hit the bar. Tozer 1 off the line. Different team away. Lee's worst game in a Wrexham shirt tonight. Not having the calmness of Evans in the middle made a huge difference tonight. Wouldn't mind trying to sign Hutchinson from Walsall in during the window. Looked very good both games against us. Dont fancy us against Barrow next. 3rd looked offside but don't think we would of got the equaliser anyway.
Both keepers made some good saves. Walsall play some nice stuff to be fair. Need a few in and out in January to have a chance of autos

Walsall the better team in the second half and deserved the win, no idea if it's the players we are missing, all the travelling over the Christmas period or what but we just weren't at it tonight.

Fantastic win, all over Wrexham. Where has that been all season?!. Such a Walsall thing to do, always show up against the better teams.

Nailed on we go to Grimsby on Monday and get our belly's tickled in a 2-0 loss now, it's the Walsall way.

I thought Donny were bad, Morecambe were worse. We’ve done them a kindness by giving up at 5-0, we could’ve easily put 10 past them

Grinding out results with a depleted midfield and squad. Just need to avoid getting beat on NYD and it will have been a very good festive period for us in my opinion

Awful game on a poor pitch at Bradford. But another good point for me in the circumstances.

Deserved win for Gillingham. They could feel aggrieved it was only 1-0, but our defence did well enough to limit their chances and it was a very good strike that won the game.

Fair play to Williams and the team, takes some bollocks for their reaction to a bad run being to double down on our style of play, but it’s worked. We were stunning for an hour tonight, football of the gods.

I think the one crumb of comfort that the bottom 4 can take tonight is that we all lost.
True...we must all be really shite. Dale Vince has talked about bringing in new players in January, the only way he will get someone to join us is if they are heavily sedated and wearing a straight-jacket!

Can see why Swindon have been in such poor form, they looked bloody awful. Unfortunately we're such a shambles that even that wasn't enough for us to get a result. Ref was poor and missed a blatant pen after Dokes foul on Matty Stevens, but he did give us a soft pen at the end which we missed pathetically. Deeney getting sent off didn't help either.

Notts back in the hunt for the auto spots.

Genuinely just delighted we went to shit for a few weeks and instead of us going ‘right let’s be pragmatic and play 4 at the back’ etc.. we’ve just doubled down and gone even more attacking and mental. We won’t go up, don’t think we’re capable of taking enough points off the big boys and we’ll have the odd game where it doesn’t click but it’s the most fun I’ve had as a Notts fan ever, well worth the price of admission and all that.

Notts winning games again now they are playing against teams without a pulse, no surprise.

Not just winning but destroying and embarrassing tbh. We need these pick em ups as we are very fragile at the back.

We are clearly flat track bullies and one of only a few sides that can regularly hand out lessons. Then meet someone actually good with a game plan and struggle.

Not surprised we took the foot off the gas in the second half (not for the first time this season following a first half master class ) and didn't run up the score further. Very sporting and classy from League Two's entertainers.

Some very interesting and surprising results from the top 4, all failing to win. The odds would have been huge for those 4 results combined.

Good win for us 2-0 against Crawley and overall were worth the 3 points. We are now 3 points behind Notts with 2 games in had so if they are back in the auto race, so are we!

We were shite and so were Bradford. Given the other results we’ll take it and move on.

1-1 with Accrington who were a horrible dirty team, another game that goes down as we should have won. luckily the top 3 all messed up too and we even gained ground on Wrexham.
Whitfield opened the scoring for us with a curler into the top corner and Pritchard equalised for Stanley. I have no idea how their goal survived all the 2nd half scrambles, or how the ref missed the blatant foul on Acquah near the end.
The ref came into the game with probably the highest number of reds of any EFL ref, but somehow failed to send of at least 2 Stanley players when the offences were clear reds.
But that said a points not bad given other results and we've got an easy match against some little Welsh team next.

Colchester have some nice tidy attacking play but why they insist on playing out from the back with players not capable.of doing so beggers belief.
We should have scored 9 they were that bad at the back. Anyway on we go looking a little iffy at the back today but I always felt we could win the game. Second half colchester fell apart.
