I see Ed Shearan will be the sponsor of the Tractor Boys shirts next year. Nice idea, a way high worth fans can put a bit of tax-deductible money back into their clubs.

Just seen it.

Remember him scoring that goal for Ireland in 1993.

At Dundee now isn’t he?

It’s pretty poor to see the other players, I assume, filming and egging him on. Talented player but the whole lad culture around football is absolutely not what he needs to be a part of - he can’t handle himself and brings out the worst in him.

Yes that seems to be from their promotion party.

I agree - that is a silly dangerous thing to do.

In isolation it’s a bit silly but probably nothing major. Am sure there will be people who see that and think we are being boring or whatever.

When you know the other stuff he’s been involved with and how he’s got himself kicked out of more than one club due to being involved in stupid stuff like that and worse when he’s had a few, it becomes something a bit more than that

I suspect if you take out loan players, there would me a massive gap between us and who ever would be second. These sort of stats always make me proud of my club though. Even now, after over 25 years of this model we're still unique. Nobody in the football league can name a full team of homegrown players, we've done it twice and won twice.

I didn't think Ipswich would be that high or Blackpool that low. I had this impression that Blackpool were a young side but obviously not that young.

And Posh very low as well given their model.

It is impressive how as a club you've stuck to the model, even after relegation.

We are trying to move closer to your model but don't think we'll ever get a team full of homegrown players as we are still looking to supplement by buying/loaning in potential and experienced players. Whilst we appear relatively low down on the list of minutes, we had 4 regulars that had been part of or fully come through our Academy but only Jack Stevens meets the age criteria. On top of Jack Stevens, we had Sam Long, Josh Ruffels and Matty Taylor all regularly playing.

I think ours was skewed by having the evergreen James Coppinger in the squad

Was impressed with the two loan lads Lincoln had and Yates for Blackpool
The sub for Lincoln with the red hair was also a handful when he came on

Our local journalists are reporting that several contracted players are considering handing in their notice over unpaid wages.

FIFA ruling that players can hand it in after 2 months unpaid and if they still haven’t been paid after another 15 days there is a just cause for termination.

What a shitshow.

I'd say that is a better representation than the EFL team.

Whispers of WBA approaching us for Appleton after the halted Wilder talks. Hopefully just some posturing from WBA to get Wilder in.

£700k-ish release clause.

If it isn't posturing then I'd be very surprised if he didn't take it. He will go there at some point imo.

He's a better manager than Wilder.

And a much much nicer bloke.

Sounds like David Wagner for WBA. Their Chairman is refusing to pay compensation for their next manager.

Landon Donovan(!) has joined the Club as Strategic Advisor as part of a circa £1m American investment into the Club.
