Can they change the date and time of the last game unilaterally? Don't they all have to be played simultaneously?

One for any Plymouth fans later in the season. Don’t agree with this at all, complete lack of consideration for any travelling fans especially for a reason like this.

League Two and Champ have moved to the Monday but pretty sure L1 always finishes at 12 on a Sunday for TV? I recall our relegation at Fleetwood was a Sunday lunchtime.

Yeah but that was because you finished a week earlier wasnt it?
I completely forgot that, but you're right. I think it was something to do with the playoffs not being able to take part on the bank holiday weekend, so the League 1 playoff final was a week earlier as well.

Chris Maguire suspended from football for six weeks and fined £750 after his betting hearing.

Some of the charges were withdrawn. The money involved was minimal, but interesting to note that as part of an accumulator last season he bet on Lincoln to beat Wycombe (finished 1-1, late equaliser for Wycombe) and he played 90 minutes in that game.

Noticable how bad Lincoln are in a lot of these metrics. Could explain their heightening relegation fears.

Interesting, shows what we generally feel at Vale in that we seem to be very competitive against the bottom half sides, somewhat surprised at how well we've done against the current top 6 as we often bemoan that record but two wins and two draws is steady.

How wasteful we are in attack isn't a huge surprise given the injuries we've had and amount of games we've had to put a winger or even at one point a youth team midfielder up top! If only we'd sorted that issue in August!

Just been reading about chances created this season. Our left back Davis is 2nd with 68 chances created in 26 matches. Bannan is top with 71 and Hourihane next behind the top 2 with 45 created.

Highlights how poor our finishing has been at times that our left back has created 68 chances and yet only has 7 assists all season. Way too good for this division though, and we’ve not a chance of keeping him unless we are promoted.

Can someone explain why the loan rules only allow 5 in a match day squad. The whole point of EPPP etc is to allow for big clubs to stockpile all the talent, but then a lot of them can’t get proper game time due to loan limits. I get not allowing too many from the same club as you don’t want actual feeder clubs etc but what’s the problem other then that?

Why should clubs be allowed to play more than 5?

Why not? Saves money and gives youngsters more chances to get experience.

I’d absolutely hate the thought of turning up every Saturday to watch 11 non-Charlton players playing for Charlton.

Although to be fair, at the moment I absolutely hate the thought of watching 11 Charlton players playing for Charlton.

Well obviously, still preferable to having a team full of other club’s players.

I’m not against loans by the way but a limit of 5 in a matchday squad is perfectly fine.

But why 5 specifically, and why does it only apply in the EFL.

I mean last time Fulham were in the Prem under Scott Parker they often used 6 or more in their matchday squad as loans from abroad don’t count. Seems a bit unfair.
