The EFL highlight show is changing this season. No studio set-up and it'll filmed from a stadium every week, with no guests and ran closer to a quick fire goals show instead.
Excellent news, can’t stand the analysis. Back to the format I grew up watching as a kid.

So basically the same as the Sky show then. Shame.

Good, less boring analysing, talking and just goals.

Still a shame that Quest lost the rights.

Colin Murray is a good guy and the studio analysis from the likes of Ali Maxwell was spot on.

ITV offering in comparison was poor.

A shame for the only one real fan they have yes of course
Not sure if you would class me as a "real fan" or not as I have only supported / followed my home town team since NW counties days, when I returned to my home town. However, I do know FTFC does have many real fans who have followed the club long before my time, just as your and all the other clubs have. Likewise there are many good people who work and volunteer for the club.

On a personal level I enjoyed following the club more when we were non-league, I felt part of the club, I felt the players tended to play for the club rather than the wage packet, now I feel I am just another punter. I dont know what the fall out will be from all this all I do know is, my home town, my club, my 100% support for them whatever league we may be in.

Changes to the EFL highlights on ITV.

No pundits and a shorter format based from a ground rather than in the studio.

I did think 2 hours was a bit too long and the pundits whilst good at times depending on who it was ended up repeating themselves a lot over the course of the show

I am somewhat bemused although delighted that Scott Brown has agreed a new 2 yr deal with the club. He won't come cheap, and the extension could see other players and staff follow suit. He clearly has background information as to what is happening behind the 'scenes' and that being the case fans should be let in on this. How is the club funding this ? Is the club being sold ? Where will the revenue be coming from to pay the salaries etc for next season ? Are penalties around the corner for the club which could have serious implications going forward. I would hope Fleetwood will be issuing a statement certainly before the start of the season to address some of these concerns, which I know are shared by many fans

Future England number one, James Trafford.

One of the most talented goalkeepers I’ve seen.

Without doubt, best we’ve had since Jaaskelainen.

He was part of our youth set up so we'll be getting a sell on fee for his transfer to Burnley.

Funny that 3 England goalkeepers in Pickford, Henderson and now Trafford all have had a connection to our club.

Quality keeper; if it wasn’t for him we take 4/6 points of Bolton this season, the late save at VP to deny Ellis a winner was world class, any other L1 keeper we win that 1-0.

At Bolton we dominated the chances and he was outstanding. Great save right on HT to keep them ahead.

Will be a number 1 for a Prem side soon.

Trafford is undoubtedly a great keeper and will most likely go onto be England’s number 1 (between him and Dean Henderson I think), but I have to say he put in one of the worst goalkeeping performances that I’d seen down the Meadow last season.

Terrible mistake from him staying on his line and flapping at an arial ball gifted us all 3 points last season. His kicking was very suspect that day too. Most of his kicks went out of play!

Should have got sent off in the 1st half of our home game vs Bolton for a diving header on Kyle Joseph (from approx 45 secs):

We’ve sold our initial allocation of 1,100 for Pompey away in a day and have had it extended to a maximum of 2,000.

I can’t get a ticket until Wednesday, hope there will be some left..

Same in the game against us. With the ball at his feet he’s actually the worst keeper I’ve seen us play against this season - I’d assume mainly because he’s trying to develop in that aspect and trying things uncomfortable (for the moment) to him.

He’s been excellent for the u21 side though. All things equal I still think I’m taking Michael Cooper though.

its a shame the stadium works are still ongoing because once complete in a few months time the away end will be capped at 3000 which sounds like you could easily bring

this was always going to be a popular one especially on the opening day. As luck has it I will be holidaying in Sandbanks when we play them so my journey will be even shorter.
Hope you manage to get a ticket! - Barton might have a spare he doesnt need one!

Yup, Agent Baz was fantastic for us last season, probably the best keeper in the league. Obviously we were more than happy to see him fail at Scum.

Same thing could quite easily happen to Trafford at Burnley.

Got it!

Thank god - would have been £20 down the drain booking trains so far in advance. Was going to go to the Brentford B friendly, don't live far from the ground.

Only to see its where the London Met play ffs

Trafford is far from the finished article......Its Only 2 years since he was Dropped from the Accrington team.
He came to us and improved but he is still only 20 will get better and better if he plays....Big risk going to Burnley but he has great self belief in his ability. May take a step back next season but i have no doubt he will get to the very top
