The whole financial system top to bottom is a mess anyway as it does little for anyone across the board financially.
Prem clubs can or afford to lose a little bit more because with the billions they receive they amazingly to to bottom still all make massive losses season on season as none run themselves well.
And all an increase in tv income will do down here is make sides have even more ridiculously large wage bills they cannot pay off as they will rack up exactly the same level of debts if not more than previously.
It’s such a waste of time solution, each time the tv income increases there is some wild hope that clubs suddenly will become solvent because the extra few millions will cover the mass debts and turn the overall picture into a profit and every single time what happens 2-3 years later is the same clubs run at even bigger losses because they run even more poorly than they did previously.
Football is 100% run like my wife who if told we somehow got an extra £150 in our wages this month due to not paying council tax or trace costs will instantly go out and somehow spend £200 because we got that £150 extra leaving us worse than before
