If we win tonight (which we won't) I may just allow myself a tiny bit of hope we aren't out of this just yet. We have to go to MK which will probably be a draw as it usually is. And then Swindon and BC have to come to Deepdale in April! Could be an exciting end to the season if we stop playing like a fucking Sunday League team.

If we managed to get ourselves back in automatic contention then it confirms that Bristol City, Swindon and MK Dons are all shit and not a patch on last season's promoted teams.

Looking at the Swindon v MK game, the sensible thing, for us, would be to want the Wiltshire boys to win to knock MK a bit more but I'm really not sure sensible and being a City fan can be the same thing in this particular case. As Cott's has openly said he wants the title, I don't know what to want as things stand, a draw maybe? :dk:

Always got to be a draw, then 1 point is lost from the game overall. Preston not quite out of it yet but they'd need 7-9 points from the games against the top 3 really, if they do that then they'd deserve to go up

Hoping Preston put a run together and pip the others to second!

Funnily enough if we do end up in the Play-offs, I would agree with you. I would fancy us against Swindon more than anyone else in that pack from 4 to 8.

Of course. My opinion is just based on what I've seen so far. And I find Bradford, Chesterfield and Sheffield United (even though we won both games) rather frightening.

Very good start to the week for us, if we can make that game in hand count then those games in April could become even more decisive

Yep Preston looked down an out a couple of games back, now only 4 points off autos and with garner back.. So nice to have a bit of breathing space with very winnable games coming up ( worried about Sheffield utd though)

We're maybe, possibly, could have just a slight glimmer of a spec of hope at clawing at the play offs.

Maybe.

Not a bad night for us. But still a long way to go. Win the next 2 games and we will be at worst 7 points clear of our nearest rivals who are currently Swindon. Then there would be 16 games to go with us on 67 points - reckon 90 would be enough so a very average run in.
