The problem with that is that it is 'current form' over the whole season so far.
A lot of teams are pretty unrecognisable from early season.
A better way would be to take 'current form' over the last, say, 6 to 8 games and add that on to the current position.

We are unrecognisable from a month ago...

Waste of time all these tables based on predictions and form, look at Swindon a month ago, they were smashing it. Bristol city were untouchable, Bradford & Donny were mid-table plodders, Crewe were dead and buried before Christmas.

Surely if it was current form over the whole season so far, it would look exactly like the current league table??

No because some teams have played more games.
Having looked at it a little more closely it appears not be over the full season, but as near as damn it.
I just divided the number of points we have by the games played and multiplied that by 46 and the answer I got was exactly the same as the table.
If we were to maintain our form of the last six games we would end up with 74 points, seventeen more than the table predicts.
All seems bollocks anyway.

There's no way we get another 18 points on current form :fl:

Looks like fifth place is settled, still plenty of teams fighting for that final spot.

Yep, bad night for MK Dons. :)

As you were for us.. Still 7 points gap with a game less to go. Keep it steady boys, almost into the final quarter!

We had a great day last Saturday, so we'll take the rough with the smooth. :)

It seems a few of ours cleaned up on a 20/1 five game acca, so every cloud...

None of the play off chasers I.e. Donny or Bradford capitalised so still extremely tight for that sixth spot. If it stays as close as it is the last day could be crazy!

Yes, but when Swindon were top, your fans said they weren't really top because you had a game in hand. Works both ways.

Boasting about being top of the league is slightly different to boasting about being five points behind but I get the point you're making.

Bit of a strange remark from a player on about his own fans?

Wes Foderingham ‏@wes_foderingham
Felt like we were playing away with the atmosphere tonight. Good win to get back on track. Proud of the boys. We appreciate the real fans

Don't really know what that's about. Possibly the attendance, which was sub-7000, or maybe there were some boos that I didn't hear.

If his full tweet was posted, rather than cut half way, it'd show that he was referring to a few boos when we were winning, not the attendance.

The attendance was poor though

There were a few jeers when Wes did his usual stroll up the pitch with the ball when he had the chance of launching it quickly.

TBF to Wes, he's only doing what he's told

We're still not in the automatic promotion race.

Our game in a couple of weeks is going to be HUGE! to both teams

Aye, i'll be making the trip down for that one, my first visit to Milton Keynes.

If we get a result and actually overtake either yourselves or Swindon at some point then I might start to consider us contenders.
