Meant nowt the last 5 years, most Blades fans will agree last season they were horrific.
Worst Sheff Utd team i have seen in years.

Same logic applies to bookies making Pompey favourites in League 2.
It was just your assumption before a ball kicked that you and Blades be in the top echelons that made me smile, think a few sides like Millwall, Bolton and others will have a bit to say.

I don't think it's unrealistic to think we will be pushing for promotion this season.

I think that's purely the only reason he's been offered a new deal, only made 2 appearances last season both in the 1st and 2nd round of the League Cup, so can't see it being a footballing decision. Still think he'll end up at a club in League One, good business sense from us.

Someone posted on twitter (so unlikely then) that Coventry have offered a two year deal to Sam Mantom, he's out of contract at Walsall, but has been offered a new deal.
