We have agreed a fee (yes a fee!) with a club abroad for a striker due to sign tomorrow, along with 2 Monaco lads who have been delayed until tomorrow due to lack of flights from Nice after the England game... so around 6 or 7 new signings expected tomorrow.

Likely to include Kiko and Tavares.

Monaco boys are flying in tomorrow, struggled to get in past two days as hardly any flights available due to England fans flying back from Nice.

Kjell looks decent on youtube with 60 yard passes on a six pence, but assume the level is probably League One standard/League Two so will have to see how he works out, was their captain mind so a leader at least.

Smurf is bigging up the lad we've paid for though... however this is Smurf who was going to cut the budget... Page went now he's apologised to the fans for his behaviour, admitted he wanted Page out and splashing the cash!

If it is Germain though I would be very very happy!

The only likely ones of the 6 or 7 due tomorrow would be Kiko and Tavares as they've been mentioned in the Portuguese press as leaving Setabul to join Vale (and Smurf tweeted about the opinions of these two).

May get more lady fans if Kiko signs mind!

The other Vale lads on here might know more from inside as I live 3 times closer to Coventry than i do Vale Park!

Nothing concrete our end but Mowbray has said has prem and championship experience plus he knows him from Middlesbrough. Sounds plausible.

Still not sure who any of these players are yet as Smurf is keeping his cards very close to his chest.

Along with Valre Germain the other rumoured Monaco player is winger Edgar Salli.

We aren't sure if these players are still loan players (which is what Smurf originally said) or they are coming permanently which is what he seemed to be tweeting about the other night.

He also confirmed this morning that we have paid a fee for a striker but we are not sure if this is the striker from Monaco or a different striker as he also said he was looking a bringing in some British players.

He says that we will be signing at least 6-7 players tomorrow and a few more on Friday.
